My disability journey started in November of 2022. I hired an attorney in California and they filed my claim. That was the extent of their involvement in my case. I was left to do all the leg work. I was denied. Over the last 2 1/2 years I had 6 surgeries, four of which were major. My California attorney files for reconsideration and a year later denied again. That’s when they dropped me. I am so grateful for that. I reached out to RPQ in June and they immediately took my case and gave me personal service and attention right away. Today, not even 2 months after they filed my appeal, I received a call from Attorney Ploppert who explained that when he reviewed my case, he saw an error in the denial and he reached out directly to the judge to point it out.
