Waste of time & loss of $350 strategy fee, $4500 retainer fee was refunded. No strategy for case my son was told not a fit for firm and sent away with referrals. If you don’t want the case say that before taking peoples money!
Ma'am, unfortunately, you were not in my office for the retainer meeting. You were not privy to an unacceptable behavior issue AFTER our case strategy session that occurred in my office. We are not a bus, and we are not required to take every person who wishes to hire us. Due to attorney client privilege, I cannot share more. I really wish I could! Additionally, both my paralegal and I were in agreement on this necessary decision.
I hired Ms. Rossberg in 2012 for my divorce. She was kind, compassionate, and highly competent - a guiding light through a very difficult time. In 2015, I turned to her again when my ex-husband violated our divorce decree, and once more she handled the matter thoroughly and expeditiously. Most recently, in 2025, I consulted Ms. Rossberg to review my prenuptial agreement. She was genuinely excited for the next chapter in my life and provided insightful, practical, and sound advice. While I hope I don’t need Ms. Rossberg’s services again, it would only be because life no longer calls for them - not because of any shortcoming on her part. In fact, I couldn’t recommend Ms. Rossberg more highly.
I was told to call this law firm by 2 other law firms. I did, and was pleasantly surprised when I was told they do not like doing contested custody cases. They do not like drawing on emergency cases. The paralegal was busy getting paperwork done and I was made to feel like I was keeping her from doing her job. I was not impressed at all with the unprofessionalism that I was shown.
I apologize you had this experience. High Conflict Cases require a tremendous time commitment to do a good job. With that being said, there is a tremendous shortage of available divorce and custody lawyers. Our phones literally ring all day long. We try to limit how many cases we take so we can get good results. I would imagine my paralegal was working on the many trials we had this past month. People count on us to get good results at trial. I’m sorry you felt marginalized but her priorities were correct taking care of our existing clients and their cases.
Plenty of experience and looks at the short term & long term goals, and possible scenarios. I needed a divorce & parenting plan. She balanced my needs, my child’s needs, and conflictions with the judge & other party. Disillusion of marriage was fair & equitable. I will be using her for future parenting plan consultation & prenuptial contract consultation in the future.
Thank you for this kind review. Just doing my job. Glad I helped!!!
Sunday is the best attorney, she cares and listens and gets stuff done. If you want to win your case you will have much better luck doing it with Sunday on your team. Can’t recommend enough.
Just don’t. Worst experience and a waste of money!
This person was never a client and is a member/church goer at Victory Christian Church. This unnamed person made positive reviews for Victory Church and many business owned by its members. This is a personal attack due to me leaving that church and being critical of its pastor and staff. Ironically, this review was left after I publicly criticized Victory and its preaching for tithes that were not used to provided "food in the storehouse" despite relying upon the scripture to get churchgoers to tithe. (Malachi 3:8-10) I previously attended that church, but left due to its hypocrisy. This is a false review that was retaliatory in nature by a "so-called" Christian who attends Victory Christian Church.
Sunday and her secretary were great to work with. Very punctual and thorough with what I needed. Great communication and completing my case. Would recommend 💯
Sunday Rossberg is an outstanding lawyer. When we started looking for a lawyer, we know we needed one that would fight for us or tell us that we didn't have a case. Sunday was upfront that we had a case and she never backed down. We have used Sunday for many years. Sunday understands what we are going through and never looked at us like we were not worth it. If anyone ever ask who we have as a lawyer, I tell them with a full heart to go talk to Sunday.
Wendy, we think the world of your family! Thank you for trusting us, and thank you for the kind words!
Thank you Viki. I appreciate your support.
Attorney, Ms. Sunday Rossberg is a god send! Sunday was available at a moment’s notice when my daughter and I had an emergency and needed a GREAT attorney NOW! We both were searching reviews when we came across Sunday’s reviews. Her reputation is she’s a fighter to the end, and she represents her clients well, everyone is happy with her guidance and outcome. Sunday was with another client as they were running a little over, we chose to wait because a lot hinged on legal advice that we needed asap! Sunday came out and welcomed us into her office and showed compassion for my daughter and her situation. She gave advice and avenues that my daughter needed. We will always go back to Sunday for advice and legal representation. She showed warmth and compassion in a career field that is tough not just on clients, but tough on attorneys and judges too! This we understand. God bless Sunday, she’s a hard worker and represents her clients very well, there’s no fluff, she’s direct and to the point, just what was needed! Me and my daughter highly recommend Ms. Sunday Rossberg! She’s a true fighter and a go getter, she will fight for YOU!
I am truly humbled by your kind words. Thank you so much for this review and the many referrals.
Sunday has been there for me and my family multiple times the last 12 plus years. Absolute professional and now a dear friend. I highly recommend Sunday for any custody issues.
Andy, it was a pleasure working for you and getting to know your family over the years. Its a true honor and I am humbled by your kind words. Also, thank you for the many referrals over the years.
Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a so-called professional. She had never met either myself or my son, who is a disabled veteran, but her first words to him were, "You do meth, don't you? And don't lie to me, because I know you do." She based her judgement solely upon his appearance (he is permanently wounded from his service to our country and because of chronic pain, his appetite is affected, and he is thin). Even after explaining this fact to her, she persisted in telling us that she was an expert in recognizing "meth-heads" and refused to apologize. She spent our $200 session self-aggrandizing and singing her own accolades. (She did not refund our money) My son was there for custody advice, and she told him it was basically hopeless. As a footnote, we hired a wonderful, competent attorney and my son now has complete and full custody and is full of hope! Run, do not walk, from this horrible woman. She has a terrible reputation around town. Just ask other attorneys. I noted Ms. Rossberg's response to my review and would add that her inuendo that she would like to share more but can't is so bogus and unethical. When she accused my son of being a meth addict, we immediately offered to submit urine and blood tests to prove her unfounded allegations wrong. We offered to share his stacks of medical records from the VA with her. She declined. She based her entire attack solely upon a superficial and uninformed assessment of his appearance. Instead of admitting that she made a hasty error in judgement, she doubles down to further malign him in her response to my review by insinuating that "she knows so much but can't share it" and includes child custody law to imply he is as a danger to his child. As I stated earlier, he won full custody, and no allegations of drug abuse were ever posed by the other side. It is further testament to the character, or lack thereof of this horrible individual. She should be very ashamed. I thank God we dodged a bigger bullet, being alerted by her behavior, to go elsewhere.
I can only assume these initials are those of Vicki Haines, who authored a similar negative review for my judgeship application which was published. She continues to update her false, defamatory, and delusional narrative of events that are taken out of context, or certainly never occurred. I've had to block her online due to her harassing behavior.

Ms. Haines has been writing similar, negative online reviews since 2016 over one single meeting where she attended.

Despite Ms. Haines' opinion, several Montana judges and members of this community wrote letters of support when I applied for a district court judgeship. I was also the recipient of a State Bar Pro Bono Award for my exemplary work protecting a child from abuse. I was nominated by Judge Wayne Phillips who proceeded over that case.

Hence, others professionals do not share Ms. Haines' opinion which she is certainly entitled to. Unfortunately, she is someone who only writes negative reviews and has criticized Lithia Motors, Sonic and Maria's Restaurant in her reviews. She is sadly a troubled person who is unhappy with life and selects a target.

As an attorney, even if I disagree, I cannot disclose certain confidences, which renders me unable to address all of Ms. Haines' false narratives and delusions, although I would like to do so.

It is important to note that in all child custody actions, the Court weighs a case under the best interests of the child test. See Section 40-4-212 MCA.

I don’t make up that test. I just follow it. One factor of the best interests of the child test is: “ (g) chemical dependency, as defined in 53-24-103, or chemical abuse on the part of either parent; ) chemical dependency, as defined in 53-24-103, or chemical abuse on the part of either parent.” Each factor needs to be assessed including that last one.

Many of the inflammatory statements that she made up about our meeting were false, and I would love to go toe to toe with her to rebut and refute them. However, I cannot get into the details of that meeting that would allow me to do so.

Anyone who takes time to update a review that is nearly 8 years old appears to be an unwell individual. I hope Ms. Haines finds happiness. Previously, before they lost their post, she was a Pastor's wife. Maybe someday she can get past this bitterness.
Sunday Rossberg is one of the best family law lawyers in the Great Falls, Montana area. She treats her clients with compassion, kindness, and like family. If you need a top divorce attorney or child custody lawyer, then I highly recommend Rossberg Law Office.
Truthfully, one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a lawyer. At first, Sunday seemed like a great fit for my divorce. My case is not high stress. A quicky divorce is all I was after. I told her I would like to retain her and we agreed to meet at her office to have me sign a fee agreement on my lunch break. I show up and to my surprise she was unavailable because she had scheduled meetings over my appointment and no one informed me. Her assistant, Angie, was extremely unprofessional about the situation. I explained that I was here on my lunch break and didn’t want to waste my time. To which she replied “okay” and then disappeared. I assumed she was going back to talk to Sunday, get my paperwork, or anything. But I waited for 10 minutes and nothing happened. So I left. Sunday called me back and accused me of storming out. I explained that I did not storm out and that I was on lunch so I didn’t have a lot of time to wait. She told me she still wanted to represent me so I said I would think about it. I called back the following week to see if she could still represent me since all the reviews say she’s a great lawyer. She gave me this huge speech about how her assistant doesn’t think I’ll be a good fit because scheduling over my appointments would happen a lot and she doesn’t think I’ll be happy. I tried to explain that my issues weren’t that she had to schedule meetings over my appointment, it was that I wasn’t informed. To which she replied “yeah that will happen.” That is extremely unprofessional and uncalled for in an already sensitive time in anyone’s life. I feel I should also note that during our initial consultation she bad mouthed a lawyer I had previously met with and accused him of domestic abuse. I am here to say that Sunday and Angie did not live up to the reviews and I would not recommend her to anyone. EDIT: I am not surprised Sunday felt the need to respond. Though I love how she can take the time to research me thoroughly but doesn’t have the time to call her “client.” This response comes only after I declined to speak to Sunday when she called me about the review I left. She is a petty and unprofessional lawyer. Her assistant is also unpleasant to converse with. I stand by my review and decision. I can’t attest to her lawyer skills as I never got the chance to work with her (thank goodness), but Sunday’s people skills are absolutely appalling.
As a legal professional, I represent multiple clients who often have an emergency just like an emergency room. Like any other business, including a doctor's office, a dentist's office, a chiropractic office, and countless other professional offices, there is no question that we sometimes run behind or need to reschedule appointments due to emergent matters. It is true Ms. Henry came into my office as she stated to "sign a fee agreement on [her] lunch break." I was in my office with an existing client addressing an emergent, time sensitive matter and was running behind like many other professionals. I was alerted Ms. Henry was in my office and then, the next thing I heard was my front glass door slamming loudly. I heard it in my closed office down the hall. After my emergent appointment with a client had concluded, I called Ms. Henry back and asked about her "storming out" as reported by my paralegal and supported by the slamming of the door. There were discussions during that call, which some of those discussions, were not fully reported by Ms. Henry in her post. After some discussion with my paralegal and her interactions with Ms. Henry, it was determined that Ms. Henry may not be a good fit for our office as there were concerns we could not meet all of her expectations and could not guarantee as a law office that we would not run late from time to time. It was not possible to promise that nor would it be possible to promise that we would not have to reschedule Ms. Henry's appointments if another client had a critical, emergent and pressing matter. For example, when a person has an appointment at a vet clinic, it is reasonable that a person who did not make an appointment, who has an emergent matter, will definitely be seen before the person who has the non-emergent matter. It is true we did not call Ms. Henry and alert her we were running behind. We did not have the time in the ten (10) minutes the appointment ran over to call Ms. Henry in advance to tell her the appointment would run over by ten (10) minutes. It is important to note that there is a long list of businesses Ms. Henry has criticized on her Google Reviews. There is not one business she's interacted with where she has posted a positive review. The businesses that Ms. Henry has criticized include: Dr. Mark Johnson, Ph.D., a licensed neuropsychologist at Benefis Health System, SpringHill Suites, and Fiesta En Jalisco. She complained with scheduling and rescheduling with Dr. Johnson's office. She complained about customer service at SpringHill Suites, and customer service at Fiesta En Jalisco. If you look at Ms. Henry's Google Reviews (assuming she does not remove them), she only posts negative reviews and has yet to post a positive review. At the end of the day, our office realizes that we cannot make everyone happy and we are very selective on who we represent. We do not wish to take someone's hard earned money knowing that it is unlikely that we will meet that person's expectations. We do not collect money from everyone who wishes to pay us. It should be noted I did a courtesy follow up with Ms. Henry which she did not mention. Later, I contacted Ms. Henry to discuss this review and she hung up on me so I had no ability to address or rectify this issue with her. Additionally, it should be noted, Ms. Henry mentioned in her negative review that "all the reviews say she's (i.e. Ms. Rossberg) a great lawyer". This leads me to believe that this negative review is because I declined to represent Ms. Henry as she stated in her Google Review. I truly hope there is some professional somewhere who will be able to satisfy Ms. Henry's expectations!
Sunday is an incredible attorney. She will fight zealously for you and the best interest of your family's needs. She makes her clients feel like the most important people as she prioritizes each of them. Sunday takes every case extremely seriously. I 100% recommend her for any family legal issue you are experiencing.
Sunday Rossberg was very professional & helped me through a very difficult period in my life.
