My first call Ryan answered and gave me his undivided attention and listened well at what I have going on. He gave me sime legal advice and we scheduled a consultation. Hes very polite to me as a single mother with two young children, as they were with me, he sat out a coloring sheet for my oldest so she could color. For a mom that's awesome for help and a distraction so we could get a game plan going. He has my back and also very straight forward with no grey areas. It gives me peace through my situation that's awful that he is here to help. Highly recommend Ryan!!

I would like to give a honest review and be fair My x wife kidnapped my children while I was in another city working., and Ryan was the guardian ad litem that I wanted to make sure the best interest of the children was protected. He told my parents that they would have to take custody of the kids because of the false allegations.he didn't take any evidence from us and our interview lasted 5-10 minutes he said he would take it later 2 days before the hearing Ryan decided he didn't want the case didn't read any evidence and decided 2 interview my x and our oldest daughter didn't interview me or my parents or anyone except the kidnapper and the kid that was kidnapped. Decided that was good enough and his job was done. And because of that the judge let Washington State take jurisdiction away from mo. If Ryan is assigned to your case or a lawyer recommends him DO NOT USE HIM ASK FOR ANYONE ELSE I WOULD PREFER I DIDN'T HAVE A GUARDIAN AD LITEM AT ALL BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE WON JURISDICTION THANKYOU. My lawyer did a great job Ryan is a horrible person and would rather kids are kidnapped and gaslight for six months because he doesn't want to do his job thankyou

Very unprofessional, lacks boundaries, and doesn't appear to know the law. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely did not do his job as a GAL at all. Clearly doesn't know the law, because he doesn't understand the difference between probation and prison. Is incredibly misogynistic. Does not follow the guidelines for GAL in the state on MO at all. Listened to what the 14 year old said and did nothing about it. Spoke to one party for 5 minutes 6-7 months before trial, and then nothing after that. Yet, spoke to the other party several times while waiting for court. Spoke to people on one side, yet none at all on the other. Did not speak with teachers, counselors, the 7 different police officers who would have corroborated the child's story. Did not do home walk throughs after insisting they needed to be done. Stole 43 days from child and his other parent and siblings, based on a charge, not a conviction. Refused to look at actual convictions on the other side. Really went for the male in the scenario, based on all evidence against him. MO does have completely incompetent lawyers and GALs, however this was a notch above even that. Would stay far away and never recommend him in any scenario. Had zero problem charging thousands of dollars for doing absolutely nothing. Thank goodness my son has 3.5 more years till he can feel comfortable telling these people how he feels about this whole situation, because he 100 percent totally will be.

We went to Ryan Ricketts to draw up some legal papers. He was very professional, papers were ready for signatures in a week, went through papers and explained in language easy to understand. Also nice to note, he did not hard sell us into purchasing more than we asked for and his price was very reasonable. Will definitely keep him if a legal need arises in the future

Terrible I do not recommend I had a custody battle I hired Ryen for and even though the child’s father was absent for five years of her life ryen was wanting me to settle on the bare minimum or Child Support give my child’s father 50-50 I feel like he was working more for my child’s father then for me even though I hired him if it comes to custody case I do not recommend him to nobody that wants to protect their child he told me I was unrealistic about my case and quit on a Sunday right before my court that week I have so much I could say more but do not go with this lawyer for custody lawyer I hired a new lawyer and I got full custody of my child the father gets visitations and I get child support I was not unrealistic because at the end of the day I got everything I wanted no help to Ryen he just took my money and played with my case for months taking more money

Ryan and everyone in his office are out of this world. I’m so happy I got him as my attorney. He has absolutely blown me away. He is the type of attorney that will help you every step of the way and push for what is right! They are professional and kind. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to handle a case the right way. I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done for me and my son. I will be forever grateful! If I could give him 10 starts I would!

If he is chosen by the court as your GAL get it switched at all costs. The well being and best interest of children is not his priority. How a child's advocate can go a year and never meet the children and never do a home visit at either parent's house, yet still be able to come up with a recommendation of where the children should reside is beyond logical reason. Sadly, the children are the victims of his unprofessional incompetence.
