My oldest son, a Kent State student, died in a tragic and senseless hit and run electric scooter accident several years ago. This accident was publicized since it occurred near Kent State University near Kent Main campus in Kent, Ohio. During the discovery phase of the investigation and throughout the entire investigation of the accident, I was unable to gain any information from the prosecutor and the police since I needed legal representation. Tom Ryan Injury Attorneys allowed me to gain more information of the accident that I was unable to do alone. Not only was Tom extremely professional during the course of the entire police investigation, but he was also very responsive to my inquiries, and I found him very competent in personal injury law as it related to this hit-and-run case. Tom Ryan with Ryan, LLP represented my daughter who was in a car accident in which the other driver was at fault. Two weeks after the accident, we received correspondence from lawyers representing the hospital stating that we were liable for payment of all charges. Two weeks after that, we received correspondence from the other drivers insurance who wanted us to sign a settlement prior to receiving all the hospital bills. In an effort to make sure we were not being taken advantage of and liable for hospital bills that should be paid by the insurance company, we sent the correspondence to Tom and he handled everything from there. He worked with the lawyers, both insurance companies and the hospital to make sure everything was paid by the responsible party. He ensured that my daughter was treated fairly and was compensated for the physical and emotional aspects which she endured after the accident.
