My experience with Sammis Law Firm was seamless! My attorney was Katherine and she was extremely informative and helpful. I initially shopped around different law firms but when I got on the first phone call with Katherine she explained everything I needed to know from start to finish. Most of the other offices I contacted barely gave helpful infromation and left me with a lot of questions. So I immedietly hired Katherine for my case after the initial call. The pricing was also very reasonable for the work they did for me. Katherine was very responsive even when she was a bit busy with other cases she ensured to atleast text me with information or let me know when she can get back to me. They emailed me all case documents as soon as they had them from the court and answered all my questions throughout the case anytime I called. On 5-23-24 I found myself in the unfortunate position of being arrested and facing 35 1/2 months to 15 years in a florida prison for a second degree felony. The offense happened in Clearwater, Florida and I live in Kentucky. I did not have to appear at every pre-trial hearing because of the work This firm does. However, I did attend where my presence was required. After months of uncertainty and a few weekends of back and forth the trial day arrived on 8/13/25. After a 12 hour trial followed with 2 1/2 hours of jury deliberation, this 55-year-old father of 2 and grandfather of 4 was found not guilty. I will say it was one of the happiest days of my life! I cannot say enough about Katherine and Joshua.They were truly my"dream team"!! Katherine had my back from day 1 and Although I did not meet Joshua until the morning of the trial , I immediately felt comfortable with him! I was truly a lost ball in tall weeds!!! Don't do it.If you don't want phone calls,texts or email you came to the right place.A typical ex public defender where josh lost all 3 issue I had.when i ask for the office manager he said that he is office manager.He will text when payment due in full before he started.be careful he can get you jail time for minor offense

The most contact you get is to make sure you pay up front.Gives you hope that he has connection in dade city.Does not want to meet before court and try to email or text and get nothing.Lost all 3 misdemeanors And and 1 injunction for saying dirty cop.would not recomend for dade city issues unless you want a public defender that started in dade.
