Scher, Bassett & Hames

I just started with Mr. Scher. I hope all goes well.

Mr. Bassett is an awesome attorney. He got me almost triple what the opposing insurance company was offering. Very friendly and kind. His staff are also very friendly and helpful. This is the second time he's represented me. I highly recommend him.

I spoke to Scher about 6 months ago about my nerve damage case. He advised me to get all the medical care that I can thru my employer health plan as workers comp insurance might limit the choice of doctors and to then call him when I was done with all the treatment to file the workers comp and potentially get partial DI. All my treatments haven't gone anywhere since then and as a result I'm ready to pursue a partial DI claim now. So I called him again yesterday and to my utter surprise in an about-face he said that I hadn't filed a workers comp case yet and that he was "not interested". I didn't file a case yet solely based on his suggestion last year. And then he had the audacity to tell me that I just kept talking about my medical history. Well excuse me for not discussing my weekend plans instead in a workers comp discussion! Seems to me that this guy is only interested in the million-dollar open-and-shut my-leg-was-cut-off case.
