Please please do yourself a favor, find another attorney. Whatever you do, don't pay this guy a dime. This guy had the easiest job: return my calls and keep me updated, and he couldn't even do that right. I'd be horrified to witness how he'd handle anything more than opening a can of pickles. Scibetta is an embarrassment to the legal profession. If you're desperate enough to recruit this firm, may God help you, because prayer is all you're left with.

I worked with this attorney for my divorce and was disappointed with how my case was handled. From my experience, he did not seem to prioritize my best interests.

Mike stepped up and fixed a major custody mistake by the county/nys that would have kept my Son (2 year old at the time) and during the pandemic stuck living in a unsavory environment And with people who unfamiliar to him.The other big shot family court lawyer, assured me this was going to cost 10s of thousands of $ and take 6 plus months or longer before My parental rights would be restored. I have used Scibetta law office a large amount of times. From speeding tickets and traffic infractions in past years to having Mr. Scibetta as my attorney for when I purchased my house. He was in depth and on top of everything. I would and have recommended him to many people and my clients. Definitely a top notch attorney

Simple divorce with no kids and no assets, only small credit card debt to split. Somehow ended up taking well over a year. For no reason other than being bounced between two paralegals and very poor communication between them and the lawyer “on the case.” I gave them all of the money I had left. I put my trust in them. And got nothing in the divorce. They didn’t fight for me. It was all very passive. Very rarely did they fill me in, unless I called and checked in repeatedly. The whole process was extremely messy. And it did not have to be. Both paralegals even lost some of my paper work that was detrimental to my case multiple times. The reason you pay good money, is for a professional to make sure that you, as a client, are fought for and your mind is at ease. That was not the case for me. I hope others have a better experience.

Over priced, too passive, no experience in criminal defense. Check his credentials first, I believe his experience is in real estate, wills, businesses and trust funds. He was no match for the DA! Never prepared. Incompetent.
