Scott is always professional

I have known Scott since 1998. I've spoken once ea. with other attorneys who came across as cold,uninterested and in a rush. Scott only comes across as person trying to understand and help another person. I have been to his office several times and the cat was always there. Hope He will still be there if I go back again.Scott should get 10 stars for his compassion, as well as his expertise as an attorney. He has always been refreshingly honest, and if he doesn't have the answer, he will either research or refer you to another who is almost as good as he is. . Recently I have been having a few health problems and the former apartment manager where I live, for what ever reason, didn't record that I had paid my rent from the end of last spring and summer. I received a notice from the new manager a few days before Christmas,giving me 14 days to vacate the premises. I had no idea where to go or what to do, especially while I was having problems with the healing of a 10 week old fracture and was supposed to be on bedrest for another problem. To add to all of that , the family Christmas party, that I would have not gone to,had to be cancelled due to the unexpected heart attack of a dear,young family member and the sudden death of a twin baby in my nephew's family. All that ran and re-ran in my mind was my Mother saying, "When it rains it pours"alternating with,"It will all straighten out in due time." I prayed for help and guid- ence, and by the day before I was to receive an eviction notice, I began to wonder if due time was the next day. . Then, out of the blue, a voice in my mind said, "call Scott!" So I did, even though it had been about 12yrs.since I had seen him. Although he doesn't work with those kind of classes, and I didn't leave a clear phone number with my message, Scott had an old email address for me, took a chance I might still use it, sent his best advice and I was on a roll again.I had till 3:30 the next day to obtain copy's of the cashed checks, called the bank, got them sent so God takes care of you, in due time and so does Scott Knox, Attorney at law and a just down to earth a really nice guy.
