I would like to extend a "thank you" to the attorney who left a threatening voicemail for my fiancé, stating they would be charging him with both criminal and civil charges. My fiancé is a Navy Veteran who served two tours in war and worked as a Search and Rescue Swimmer, yet this is the level of professional "ethics" he is met with in North Carolina. This interaction provided a clear window into what the NC legal system has become: a landscape where intimidation tactics and character assassination are used to alienate children from their mother. While you may feel you have won a battle through these atrocious behaviors, you have actually lost the war. Your laziness and reliance on threats rather than the law only drove me to conduct my own deep study of both God’s Law and the Laws of this land. Your voicemail is further proof of how this state has overstepped, taking from a mother and infringing upon the jurisdiction of the State of Texas. Where Parental Rights are enshrined in our state constitution. To those who call evil good and good evil: Woe unto you. I have the records, I have the evidence, and I will be seeing you all again in court. Bet on it.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I think Scott bills you, then bills you more so you drop him and he doesn't have to actually work on you case or go to court. He was too 'busy playing' with his paralegal to work on my case. No idea how he still has a license.
At Scott law group, over the last 26 years of assisting thousands of clients in the triad, we have learned that being successful and winning cases comes with a price. With every winner there is a loser. In addition, not all clients heed our legal advice and go their own way resulting in an undesirable outcome. With the invention of the internet, anyone can post a dishonest or fake, negative review about you or your work to damage your business or reputation. Often, an opposing party will post a fake review with a fake name, just to damage our reputation.<br><br>Although we have far more positive reviews, it is easy to post a negative review by choosing an anonymous name and placing us in the position of being unable to fully respond due to the limitations of the attorney-client privilege and confidentiality. Hiding behind a social media curtain has become a real issue for businesses in this digital age. To those reading our response to this dishonest reviewer, Scott Law Group is in exceptional standing with the N.C. State Bar, and we practice the highest ethical standards in our representation of clients. Once our law firm responds to these reviews online, the reviewer sometimes continues to post negative reviews on various sites and vows to file a grievance with the state bar. Neither of these actions deter people from all walks of life and localities from seeking our legal services and receiving positive outcomes to their case. We have never heard of this reviewer as he did not post his/her real name and therefore we cannot fully respond at this time. We welcome “ Greg Thorson” to reveal his/her true name and facts to support these derogatory remarks regarding our legal representation.
I sat back and let the team do their work. Patience is key, they're working hard and I'm not the only person that needed assistance. They did everything without any issues for me, very professional and caring staff.
Worst attorneys i ever worked with Never suggest anyone to go here in simple words there are so many better firms out there. Never step in to this office or your will have to start taking high blood pressure medication
It is unfortunate when previous clients who you have worked hard for and even won their case come back against you and slander you because they're unhappy with their current life circumstances. There is nothing here to complain about. The case against this person was successfully dismissed.
Was given a range of what is could cost for my case and 2 months down the road and it was almost double the initial cost and hadn’t even gotten to court yet. Was unable to fund more than initially was told and had to drop firm from my case.
Due to our commitment to client confidentiality, Scott Law Group is limited in our response to this seemingly negative Google review. However, we can say that high conflict, family law cases are the most difficult types of cases out there. They require emotional and financial strength and there is never a clear winner, only a “bettering” of the situation at hand. While we understand this client’s frustration of the speed of the court’s system and the financial costs to properly prepare for a life changing trial, it is disappointing when the frustration is redirected onto the one person who was always there to listen, help and fight… the lawyer.<br><br> <br><br>Family law cases are hard and the more that is at stake, the more it will likely cost, in many ways, for a client to succeed.<br><br> <br><br>Prayers for all of those out there fighting to better their family law circumstances.
No nonsense , smooth and gets the job done. We’re not finished but I’m satisfied and appreciative of the outcome in one of my cases

The Scott law firm is the best law firm I have ever used for service. They are very professional, honest and reputable.
