I am so very disappointed in Mr. Pickett. We met for almost a two hour lunch and it was a generally pleasant experience. He agreed to work on two civil cases with me and even picked up two smaller cases which he huffed and puffed that he could do better and in which I should not represent myself. He quoted me a price on each and we ended with a handshake deal. He told me to speak with his office manager and tell her our deal - as we are colleagues. She would not accept and said she would call him and call me back and wanted to know my payment method. She (did not call me back the first day) - but called later the seond and said he would not represent me - he just had "too much on his plate." I was astounded and felt that the rug was pulled out from under me. We had a deal. And he communicated with me through only his office manager after our long lunch. He never called me to talk to me personally. I texted him twice with no response. I asked for an explanation and then referrals - still no response. Ethically he should have given referalls. His word is meaningless - and he behaved very unprofessionally. I am very disappointed and will never recommend him to any other business prospect or colleague. IT saddens me to have to leave this review, but he earned it. Footnote - Turns out too I handled my cases just fine and successfully - but no thanks to Pickett. Told me Joco does not record hearings - and he was flat out wrong. Seems he overrepresented himself and his experience.

I hired Sean because of his reputation. He definitely lived up to it. I do not want to go into details as I have ongoing civil litigation, but Sean seemed to pick the scenario apart in his head real quick and break it down to a simple matter of either A or B. I even had the judge tell me that I got one hell of a deal and should thank my attorney. I would feel confident in any legal issue with him as my attorney.

Would not recommend hiring. Delayed my court process by 6 months not at my request. Continued a court and did not bother to tell me so I went to court only to find out the date had been continued and never told why. Asked questions on multiple occasions and the attorney never bothered to respond. Never knew what was going even when I was asking. Most terrifying and helpless feeling in the world. Do not hire this attorney. Represent yourself.
