Several weeks ago, I reached to Joel Selik via a referral I received from the San Diego Bar Association. He reached back to me almost immediately & we had continued correspondence about my case for several weeks. Although Joel eventually decided not to take on my case, he was extremely professional, attentive, timely & informative to all of my questions & requests. He did this graciously & without expecting anything in return. He even provided me several referrals (two of which are interested in representing me) & I didn't even need to ask him to do so. My experience with Joel was extremely refreshing, genuine, & transparent. I only wish that more attorneys were like him & would follow his example. My only complaint was that he didn't take on my case, but highly understandable considering all of the complexities.
