We are so impressed with Sewell Sewell and Beard. They had quite the challenge dealing with a Texas city municipality. Jeffrey and Aiden were able to bypass state legislation and our case became a Federal case with the diligent research by Aiden Reese. We never saw the inside of a courtroom. Amazing work! The city attorney realized they could never win and gave up after a year, as the amount they owed us grew and grew. Think you can't win against a City?..think again with this firm. Thank you so much..again and again!

Poor communication and follow up. Staff/Team does not share notes internally so be prepared to start over once you are passed off to a team member. I was passed off from Doris after being unable to reach her for 4 weeks. I had to start over (from the absolute very beginning) with her colleague. This individual had none of the information; loan amounts, loan terms, etc. Very unprofessional and very unbecoming of someone in their position. I'm cutting my losses with this group and starting from scratch with someone else.

Not a good experience at all with Doris Sewell!! I hired her to assist with issues with a commercial landlord. She basically read the lease (which I had already done) gave me the same info I already had and charged me over $4K for a few calls, a very short letter and inefficient phone calls. Geesh why is it so hard these days for people to actually do a good job! I had made it very clear that I didn't mind paying the $300 hr fee if they were going to be beneficial on MY BEHALF!! It's like she worked for the other attorney and the landlord. After disengaging I was able to get done what she failed to do. It makes me wonder if hiring attorneys these days are even worth it. I guess my mistake was hiring a firm that obviously are used to dealing with people and companies with unlimited funds.

Alana and Aiden are the best. They helped me through a divorce and made a stressful event not as stressful on me personally. They were very professional and attentive.
