Hello, I was represented by you in Dec of 2020 and you took a sum of money from me. You said that there was no money in my fathers estate. Well this year I simply went onto Florida Treasure hunt and saw that there was around 13k and I filled out some paperwork and received the $ for my brother and I. Spoke to Holly who was very rude, spoke over me when I was trying to ask questions and also lied about the receipt of documents and appointment times. On Tuesday, April 16th I called to find out the status of the paperwork and was informed the attorney was not going to handle our case. Very unprofessional handling of the entire application and communication process. I would not reccomend using this attorney, based on my interactions with her office staff.

I recently moved to Ocala and needed to update my will. I contacted the Shannon Mulkey Law Firm for assistance. The receptionist told me that I must first fill out a form with my personal information. I dropped off the completed form at the Mulkey office and set up a future appointment. I called the law office on the morning of my appointment to be certain I had the correct time to stop by the office. "Oh, no", I was told, "This will be a phone interview." Well, I must say, I've had my will drawn up/updated by 3 other law offices in my life. Not one of them required the filling out of an application, in the first place. I simply called the law office, made an appointment with the attorney, SAT DOWN IN PERSON with the attorney to go over my existing will and describe any desired changes, then in two weeks or so returned to review my updated will. Easy peasy! I have since updated my will through another law office. I'm sure that Ms. Mulkey is a skilled attorney, I really can't say. But why all the runaround to simply draw up a new will from an existing one? Fill out an application? No face-to-face meeting at appointment time? Why?
