Attorney Peter Shapiro and his staff did not take into consideration that I was a disabled Veteran when handling my case. Instead of allowing me to get medical care at a local place close to my home. They continued to suggest getting medical care at a location that was far from my home. The firm was aware that a previous attorney redirected my medical care to a chiropractor by the name of East Orlando Wellness that did not verify my health insurance and when I later asked if they take my VA insurance the doctor threw my VA card photo copy in the trash. The provider never took into consideration that traveling over 15 miles for every visit without saving any PIP money to get reimburse for travel expenses had a huge impact on me and my family. We had over 50 doctor visits with East Orlando Wellness who were more concerned about taking my PIP money than making sure that a disabled veteran's care is fully insured and travel reimbursement was authorized. Mr. Shapiro and his staff never told me how they were going to negotiate my medical bills. When I complained to Mr Shapiro about issues related to medical expenses and un-reimbursed travel expenses he told me his office might not be a good fit. Mr. Shapiro also did not think much of my injuries and did not believe they were worth more than $10K when in fact my injuries have left me out of work for years. U-Haul has refused to pay the appropriate amount for my injuries and has left me and my family in a financial pre-disposition. Mr. Shapiro even placed a lien on my case so no other attorney could properly assist me.

Attorney Jonathan D. Wilson represented me and my siblings. I cant begin to show the amount of gratitude we have for all he has done. The journey was a long one and he was with us every step of the way. He is empathetic, caring and just an amazing person. Jonathan has gone beyond what has been expected. Definitely recommend him to everyone and would absolutely go to him for anything.
