Called to see what their procedure was for consultations for child abuse cases. The receptionist said she needed some info. I told her I was hesitant to relive anything unnecessarily as it had the potential to retraumatize me. She said it would be necessary and insisted. I told her all the details and she said someone would get back to me in a couple of days. It’s now been 2 months!!! 2 months!!! I would have accepted any answer, a referral an explanation but the blatant disregard after I shared highly personal and painful info is completely disgusting and disrespectful. Shame on you! Nobody could at least call me to tell me where else to look? Disgusting human beings. I guess my pain didn’t seem like it was cash worthy enough to you.
