I cannot recommend Shawn and her paralegal Nicole enough they helped me when I was in the trenches during a property sale. Previous lawyer was attempting to scam that’s when Shawn and Nicole came in as angels to save the deal for me. Not only were they able to make the process seamless with me doing little to nothing but were also able to get me some monetary gain out of this deal. absolutely amazing!

would definitely not recommend. adjectives that come to mind: disorganized, unprofessional, rude, moody, bullying. had a not noteworthy but satisfactory experience 10years ago w/ my condo purchase, however experience decidedly sour this time around, yikes. she/they act as though they're doing you a huge favor and talk down to you. ironic as their emails are a collection of random words (do not read like a professional missive most lawyers would compose) & you have no idea who you're talking to, is it an attorney, paralegal, legal aide, law student? no idea, no one deigns to formally introduce yourself, a different individual wiil randomly contact you q3weeks. in response to a 3rd request for emails clients can read/understand, she/they replied other option is sending fax (umm... prehistoric much?). the mention of using a fax machine as a satisfactory, "better" mode of communication, one that is superior to a well-composed email, was the final proverbial nail. overall it's a shame she/they aren't as tough and forceful and hard-hitting on who or what you need to be as they are with their own heretofore loyal clients- e.g., the bursts of anger towards clients and shouting ("your closing and appraisal could be delayed! at least if the lender and builder are working together, they can just work off the plan rather than needing a finished house to close. I mean, DO YOU WANT YOUR CLOSING TO BE DELAYED?" - why in the world would I not want the home to 1st be completed in its entirety prior to closing?  there is obvi potential for a conflict of interest between the preferred lender & builder- & fact she refused to hear me/understand was very troubling indeed) vs. a one to two sentence letter to a difficult preferred lender, which unsurprisingly helped not at all (how much will they charge for me that i wonder?). they clearly never read through the paperwork i sent months prior either ('when did they closing was? what's the purchase price again, huh?'). they will constant harp on irrelevant issues that only personally irk them, e.g., about my not contacting them "early enough"- to put it simply, who cares? the inability to simply get over it was childish. the (revised since years past) lottery home purchase process i had didn't allow for much flexibility/dawdling & i knew of numerous customers who went through the exact same experience I did, where they were simply never pre-approved after 60+ days (despite great finances, a conventional W2 job, excellent credit scores plus or minus a loan contingency clause returning ones earnest money if a loan is not secured) & it was a long/unserious process with high drama at time of closing w/ 'preferred' lender too. why in the world should ones lawyer ceaselessly pressure & bully you to sign on with such characters? like, get a grip and start listening to the client, it shouldn't all about you and your ego. as everyone knows too, not opting to move forward with a builder's preferred lender (as I did with my condo a decade ago) is not the end of the world; as with anything else, there are upsides and downsides, the latter including the potential for a builder-lender conflict of interest. these presumed lawyers however wouldn't quit nattering on abt going w/ that lender; i wouldn't be surprised if they were actually working in the best interests of said lender, whew! i received zero helpful advice (similar to other clients who reported the same, my questions landed on deaf ears, despite my having to be proactive and calling/emailing). i flatly refuse to beg folks i am paying fees to for help though. & i didn't want this firm's extremely dour and negative vibes to dog me for the rest of my homebuying journey and signed on with another group who is Competent and Caring, what a concept !!
