Shenoa is a respected trial and appellate attorney and one of Oregon’s go-to lawyers for legal research and writing on the toughest legal puzzles. I have sought her legal expertise on numerous occasions over the years and highly recommend her.
Shenoa Payne brings strong legal judgment, clear communication, and genuine care to her work, particularly in appellate, discrimination, civil rights, and LGBTQ+ rights matters. She is a thoughtful, ethical, and a tenacious advocate for her clients.
Reading her website I was amazed, I knew this was the right person for me, HOWEVER: Reached out twice. Nothing, zero, no communication. Was an ADA and oregon disability discrimination situation by a big bank that resulted in credit harm. I have a ton of documentation on this but its probably to nuanced, even though I have a letter where the violation is admitted. Sucks, cause I really though she was the person that could help me, instead... no response, just absurd, didnt even get the "too busy" excuse That does not line up with how the website presents this firm. Edit/reply: I understand, and this is by no means personal, I have tried to secure counsel for an injury before, I reached out to 50+ attorneys for that injury with many not even having the "decency" to reply and so I just give a 1 star, so please understand that this is me being disgrunteled at the system and not you personally.. I reached out to you, because It would have had more impact to send them a letter from an attorney than me navigating the issues myself all year long. Currently I have the bank basically backed into a corner where I believe they know if THEY are sending me to collections or sue me over debt owed, I will have an instant counterclaim that would exceed my debt 10 fold, plus the public exposure. They have my demand letter on file. This was a simple as "i request written communication due to a medical condition" for them when I asked to settle my account and they have strung me along and didnt even adhere to their own policies. I have so many contradictory statements from them its ridicolous. But I am navigating this on my own now and see where it goes. It would have been nice to have some counsel (and obviously pay for said counsel) so they know how serious it is to deny someone accomodations and make it conditional on phonecalls. As of now, they know they messed up and their risk management is probably chewing off their fingernails already. It would probably take 3 hours to explain it all. Maybe it is possible for me to reach out to you again at a later date if they decide to escalate, I just had a surgery and can't deal with it at the moment. I am updating the stars for you because you replied here and that is appreciated! Thank you and Happy holidays!
Unfortunately we receive more inquiries than we can respond to. I wish we could help more people or respond to all inquires we receive but unfortunately it is not possible with the resources that we have. I understand that is disappointing not to receive a response, and we wish you the best in finding the legal assistance that you need.
