Mr. O’Brien represented me in a DUI and 2nd refusal. After a very stressful year of waiting and hoping for the best, my trust in Mr. O’Brien paid off. He was able to get me down to a general reckless driving, and only 6 months of a restricted license. I’m certain this would not have been the case with anyone else, and I am extremely grateful for his help.

I was charged to failed to move over for emergency vehicles. I was speeding but I knew I made a mistake. Mr O’Brien represented me. He has a fair price and knew exactly what questions to ask me and what information to gather to help my case. Also instructed me what to do like driving school to show driving improvement. I was Charged with reckless driving by speed for 59/25 in a known speed trap area (Northampton County) so I went to Sheppard & O'Brien for assistance. This was my first driving offense ever, meaning that I had a perfectly clean DMV record. I paid the $1200 for attorney services by Mr. Happy O'Brien and he handled everything to include direction on taking drivers safety course, speedometer calibration, retrieving a DMV record, and sending video of the event. Mr. O'Brien went to court for me meaning that I didn't have to go which was nice and he sent out all of the legal paperwork to the applicable stakeholders (court, officer, and I). The speedometer calibration helped to bring my charge down to 54/25 bringing me to 29mph over the speed limit. Mr. O'Brien was successful in ensuring that I received no jail time, probation, license suspension, or high cost fine. I ended up with a $300 fine, 6 demerit points, and a class 1 misdemeanor on my record. I had hoped that it could get knocked down; however, Mr. O'Brien was not successful at making that happen. I asked if it was a good idea to appeal, Mr. O'Brien informed me that I would have to pay another $1200 attorney fee with no guarantee that the charge would change and there still being opportunity for charges to increase. I chose to not appeal due to this information. Mr. O'Brien performed as expected but did not exceed expectations.
