Awesome experience! We we're able to receive the document we needed with a time sensitive timeline. Our attorney, Amin Tawakul, has been really helpful.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Silverman Law Firm, specifically with attorney Faryal Ayub. My initial phone call and email communications with Patrick Caldwell were very positive. He made it seem like our case against our contractor for breach of contract was very strong — almost a “slam dunk.” Based on that confidence, we paid $1,200 for a demand letter, billed at an hourly rate. Unfortunately, the demand letter we received was largely a rewritten version of the two letters I had already sent to the contractor myself. The only noticeable additions were some legal terminology and the firm’s letterhead. It did not feel customized or strategically enhanced beyond what I had already written. After the contractor refused to take responsibility, Ms. Ayub presented us with three options. Once again, I found myself drafting much of the response content, only to then be told we had exhausted our funds and would need to pay an additional $2,000 plus a $5,000 retainer if we wanted to proceed with litigation. For $1,200, I expected more attorney involvement, including a strategy discussion or at least a phone call to fully review the facts. Instead, I spent more time trying to bring the attorney up to speed, as very few follow-up questions were asked. We received a single letter.. Additionally, I was not provided with a detailed billing statement outlining the time spent until I specifically requested one. We later learned the billing rate was $400 per hour, and we were billed for two hours to draft the demand letter. This was an expensive lesson. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this firm ask for clear hourly rates upfront, request detailed billing transparency, and clarify exactly what services will be provided before paying a retainer. Very disappointing experience. Edit after Silberman's response: Thank you for your response. However, your statement that the firm “does not publicly respond to reviews” is confusing, as this is in fact a public response to my review. My concern remains the same: the reply appears to be a generic, copy-and-paste template, like our demand letter, rather than an effort to address the specific issues I raised. Anyone reading the one-star reviews can see that very similar responses are posted repeatedly, which reinforces my experience that client concerns are not handled individually. I was open to resolution at the time I addressed them with Ms. Ayub, but what I needed was meaningful assistance and communication — not a standard response. I hope the firm will take future client feedback as an opportunity to improve transparency and service rather than redirecting readers only to positive ratings.
The owner of the firm attempted to assist Ms. Wolfe with any issues with the firm's services, but she declined to discuss the matter. While our firm believes we are entitled to post a rebuttal to the client’s allegations, our firm has a policy of not publicly responding to reviews. Suffice it to say that we do not believe that the post presents a fair and accurate picture of the events, and we would direct you to our hundreds of other positive Google reviews of our firm, as well as our stellar overall review rating.
Patrick Caldwell really helped our family during a difficult time. He provided a free initial consultation, and after better understanding the difficulty in settling even the tiny estate of my father, we decided to retain his services.
Super easy and affordable owner finance foreclosure process. Thanks.
Thanks Angie! We appreciate your business!
If you are a grieving family considering Silberman Law for representation, please be cautious. My experience with Silberman Law Firm showed a pattern of incompetence, lack of oversight, and misleading assurances that caused significant delay and financial harm. Based on my experience, I believe the firm’s leadership, particularly supervising attorney Chris Heald, acted in a predatory way by repeatedly telling me my case was “ready for hearing” when it was not, leading me to continue replenishing the retainer while little meaningful work was being done, and then blaming me for the firm’s mistakes. I hired this firm expecting competent representation based on their reviews. During the 18 months they handled my probate, I was dealing with the death of my father, a high-risk twin pregnancy, a complicated delivery, hospitalization, a NICU stay, caring for newborn twins, and the death of my grandfather. I did not have the capacity to babysit their work and I didn’t know I would need to. Even without these circumstances, anyone paying thousands of dollars deserves professionalism, accuracy, and integrity. Probate is a collaborative process, and despite everything I was facing, I remained available whenever needed. I maintained an open line of communication, asked for updates, and requested explanations so I could understand the status of my case. I made every effort to stay involved and proactive. Even so, I was met with attorneys who would not respond for weeks, who would not complete tasks without multiple follow-up calls, and who were not transparent about the mistakes that had been made. Because nothing was communicated clearly, I could not even help the next attorney avoid repeating the same errors. Despite my efforts, these attorneys made meaningful collaboration impossible. My case was passed between four attorneys due to constant turnover, and mistakes were repeated every time the file changed hands. The initial filing listed the wrong date of death. The firm later obtained an amended death certificate, billed me for that work, and then failed to provide me a copy when I requested it. Because I never received the amended certificate, I had no way of knowing what had changed — whether the cause of death had changed, whether the date of death had changed, or whether the attorneys were using November 20th because they had information I did not. Their failure to furnish the document and communicate left me unable to understand the ongoing errors in their filings or prevent the repeated use of incorrect information. Despite possessing the correct certificate, the firm continued filing documents with the wrong date of death, eventually stalling my case entirely. Had the firm retained its staff or communicated internally, this would have been a simple fix. Instead, the same error was recycled by four different attorneys, each billing to address it and then passing the problem to the next. Each attorney change meant a new draft and filing of resident agent and amendments to the application.I was never told I could designate a family member to avoid paying for the firm’s turnover. Even after billing me for these updates, attorney Patricia Longo still filed documents listing the first attorney as resident agent. When I finally raised concerns, Mr. Heald implied that I shared responsibility for the firm’s repeated errors because I had signed their documents. After 18 months of unusable work, more than $7,000 in charges were dismissed as “de minimis.” I have nothing to show for the time and money spent on this firm, and my new attorney has had to start over from the beginning. The negligence continues even after termination. Silberman Law still has not filed a Notice of Withdrawal, which has prevented my new attorney from appearing, creating more work and requiring her to contact them directly. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Silberman Law Firm for probate representation, especially to grieving or vulnerable families who deserve honesty, continuity, and competent care during the hardest moments of their lives.

I wish I would have known about this law firm earlier, I would have definitely used them in my current litigation. The firm's YouTube videos are very informative.

We worked with Madeline Taylor at Silberman Law Firm, and it was a great experience. She was professional, responded quickly and was very informational along the way. In addition, it was clear she possessed a commanding knowledge of the subject matter. We would happily call her again.
Attorney Holtsclaw is polite, communicates extremely well, and is prompt and effective.
I’ve worked with Wyatt Holtsclaw and the Silberman Law Firm on several legal matters, and each time they’ve been thorough, professional, and genuinely invested in helping me reach the best outcome. They explain things clearly, are easy to reach when questions come up, and make the process far less stressful than I expected. I really appreciate their honesty, attention to detail, and the peace of mind they provide. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy attorney.
Jessica Joyner recently helped me with preparing my Will and associated documents. She did a great job, and was fabulous with her communications and responsiveness. Definitely would recommend Jessica and the Silberman Law Firm.
Very nice man, gave me advice without trying to steer me into retaining him.
I worked with Jessica Joyner on a matter and she did a fantastic job. Excellent communication, great understanding of the facts, and the willingness to be aggressive in a situation that required that type of representation. I highly recommend Jessica and appreciate her work!
I had a great experience with this firm regarding Real Estate! They returned my call promptly and told me all the steps I need to take. I had a great consultation with them!
Had a question regarding a property. Even though it was a free consultation Patrick Caldwell went above and beyond and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him.
I spoke with Patrick this evening to get information regarding a will/trust for my mom. He was very knowledgeable, patient and funny. This process is so overwhelming but yet he made me feel comfortable asking so many questions. Grateful for the opportunity to have a free phone consultation. Not sure if many firms do this!
Great Customer Service at all times of the day.
Stay away! My intake attorney seemed knowledgeable and gave me confidence that my case would be well represented by Silberman Law Firm, so I decided to move forward. Once I actually paid for my retainer, I was assigned a junior-level, new hire attorney (Molly). Molly did not respond to my calls or emails for days to weeks at a time. She would self-impose deadlines (“I’ll get back to you tomorrow”) and then completely disappear for extended periods of time. See the attached screenshots of our (redacted) email chain as examples. These don’t take into account the many calls and emails to her "supervising" attorney, Chris Heald, who never once got back to me when Molly was out of touch. I hadn’t heard from Molly or received an update on my case for weeks (despite frequent attempts to follow up), when I found out Molly is suddenly no longer with the firm. I was waiting to hear back from her about several things. She had also made personal promises like providing 2 extra hours of work on my retainer to make up for dragging things out on her end. With her gone, I never got an additional update on my case and it was left completely in limbo. Molly’s “supervising” attorney, Chris, was unwilling to follow up on my case and any of the promises Molly made – including the 2 extra hours of work. He wrote me a couple of dismissive emails and then preemptively refunded a small amount of money on my retainer before I had even responded to him and “wished me the best in finding someone that can help further.” I would’ve rather that he use the remaining time in the retainer to at least give me an update on my case. To sum up, I paid money for an inexperienced attorney, no results, and no communication, and then was sent on my way without a solution.
