CASE DISMISSED Tldr: Officer R. Torres pulled me over and ticketed me for violations I did not violate. Silveira Law came through and got my case dismissed I was pulled over by Officer R. Torres on my motorcycle for lane splitting and speeding over the Bay Bridge when I was going the speed limit, and lane splitting is legal in CA. Officer Torres tried to say I was going 80 in a 50. Interesting because no one drives the speed limit on Bay Bridge. Flow of traffic is 60-80. But I was about to exit so I was actually going 50mph heading to my exit, but because my motorcycle at the time was loud I guess officer Torres ignorantly assumed I was speeding. Thankfully I had a camera on my motorcycle recording everything, so I told him I was going speed limit and I have it on camera, and he decided not to charge me for speeding 80 in a 50. He ended up charging me for A) 22350 VC: unsafe speed while lane splitting B) 21750(A) VC: modified exhaust C) 16028(A) VC: no insurance A) He was blatantly lying about my unsafe speed while lane splitting. I was going speed limit, and Officer Torres was also ahead of me until I got onto the exit ramp, so he has no idea what speed I was going nor did he see me lane splitting. He didn't even see me until I was on the exit ramp going 30mph, but what can I do against a cop's word, even if he's a liar. B) I did have an illegally modified track exhaust so Torres was right to ticket me for that C) I was fully insured at the time when he pulled me over. Unfortunately he said he was in a hurry and didn't want to wait for me to pull my insurance ID card on my phone so he gave me a 16028(a) VC violation and marked it non correctable. Even though I had insurance. He marked it non correctable on the ticket. Even if I didn't have insurance at the time it should be a correctable violation. So I would have had to pay close to $1,000 for this violations despite the fact I was fully insured. I believe Officer R. Torres maybe was having a bad day and was deliberately trying to make my life difficult, because he was blatantly lying and charging me for violations I did not violate. Thankfully Silveira law was able to pick up this case and help defend me in the court of law, and after a little over a year Silveira and the team were able to get my case dismissed with no penalties nor fines. Thank you Silveira and team! This is the 2nd case I brought to them on my motorcycle that they got dismissed. I would give 10 stars if possible. If you're looking for a traffic lawyer, look no further. You've found the best.

Fantastic experience with Silveira Law. Found them online with such great google and yelp reviews. Had a red light photo ticket back in 2019, went to them and they took care of the rest. The fee was reasonable, as it's better than points on a record plus the ticket fee. Silveira Law always updated me and anytime I had questions, they responded quickly.
