Easy process for intake information and getting connected

I just spoke with Tia regarding a potential need. I left the call feeling like I had connected with the correct firm for a large and complex public safety accident that had been hiden for years. Bard Port Catheter infection caused Sepsis and almost killed me. Had Catheter removed. Infected my pacemaker had to have that removed also. Another pacemaker implanted a week after infected one was removed. It was put on opposite side of my chest. Simmons Hanly Conroy so far have been great in getting a claim filed on my behalf !

Just finished my initial contact with Simmons. Case Mgr. Kris M. was easy to understand; explained the process; was personable, and patient with me. Before ending the phone call, he made sure that I had received all the emails he sent. Plus he walked me thru an email procedure to make sure I did it successfully. Initially I was approached by the firm with an offer to join in a class action suit. I accepted their offer and they handled the case from beginning to end. They were always in contact with me with updates on the case. I was very happy with the process. I strongly give a shout out to C. Gibbons from that firm.

When I developed my medical issue and trust me it was not a very pleasant one, I contacted five law firms and sent them all my medical records and only one came back and took my case. The rest said they didn't have enough for a case which I thought was ridiculous but then I'm not a lawyer. Five years later they settled, and it was over and done.

This firm wasted my statue of limitations with lies and deceit. My settlement offer was a measly 22k before their 40% and other fees. They are very rude when asking questions, and very unhelpful. There was only one lady that I spoke with that was polite months and months ago and her name is Stephanie, the other two, Marcia and Linda are very rude and demeaning. Save your case for a firm that truly cares and doesn’t take advantage. Hope this review reaches someone of importance in their firm.
