I cannot thank Sina Rez Law enough for everything they have done for me. My 2022 Explorer turned out to be a lemon, unfortunately. Sereen and Amanda were able to start on my case and close it in about four months. Everything was going well with the initial intake. Initial review had noted that my case was “viable and worth pursuing.” However they asked for an additional visit to the dealership. Normally I would understand such a request, however in this case the servicing dealer had reached the end of their ability to troubleshoot and would no longer service the vehicle for these issues going so far as to mark the RO with “operating as intended,” despite like-vehicles on their lot operating differently/appropriately and manufacturer public representations to the contrary. (All of this evidence was also provided during intake) When the intake specialist was not able to provide rationale for the additional visit or provide viable steps given the dealer’s statements regarding their final attempt to fix, I asked to speak directly to the attorney who reviewed my case to obtain clarity so I could compete the request in the most appropriate way. A quick call with the attorney was apparently not possible. This refusal to allow a potential client to speak to an attorney/expert to provide backup or rationale for a request made by them isn’t acceptable, when the intake team has failed to explain. Second, given that the dealer has reached the end of their ability to fix the vehicle, “failure to repair” requirements had been met regardless, without an additional visit. Another point I would have liked to discuss with actual counsel vs an intake team member. To this firm, simply writing “operates as intended,” on the dealer’s RO relieves the manufacturer of all responsibilities under the law despite any other evidence that the issues in question exist, even from the mouth of the manufacturer that a particular part or function is supposed to operate a certain way. This is counter to both the spirit and the letter of the lemon law, otherwise “operates as intended” becomes a ‘get out of jail free card’ for manufacturers to skirt their responsibilities under it. For these reasons, I declined to continue the process further with this firm and have opened a case with another firm.

I had a lot of different issues with my Jeep Wrangler 4xe and was very frustrated. I called Jeep personally and asked what they could do to make up for all the days that it was in the shop. They said they can refund me for the 30 days that it was in the shop (essentially giving me back 1 month of my lease payment).
