Sippell Kraig

Kraig is a very well respected attorney in Genesee County who handles probate and criminal law matters for his clients. He is a former Genesee County Bar Association President and actively involved in our bar association.

This attorney is above the rest. Kraig worked diligently on a plea deal for my case for almost 2 years. I was looking at a prison sentence. Not only did I not go to prison. I have no probation with time served. I honestly couldn't recommend a better attorney. He was always responsive to my calls or messages, even on weekends when I just had a question about the case . He always answered me. Kraig is a genuinely good guy. Thank you Kraig. I appreciate you more than you know.

Good communication and nice

He currently has been representing me, after I have tried to fire him. Then he refused to quit. Then two months ago. He stated in an email that he was going to be dismissing himself from my case and now. He still refuses to file motions or even tell me how I can file them myself as HE HAS DONE NOTHING. BUT CREATE PROBLEMS. REFUSES TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING. IF YOU GET HIM AS AN ATTORNEY. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING THRU EMAILS AND TEXT AND AFTER YOU FIRE HIM. REPORT HIS HORRIBLE ETHICS TO THE BAR. HE NEEDS TO BE FLAGGED AND REMOVED FROM THE LAWYERS BAR AND THE COURTS

There are good and bad in any profession. There is also the worst and in the lawyer category, Sippell is his name. In my case, he only spoke in court to say his name (presumably, to get paid). Is it incompetence, laziness, or that he just doesn't care? Regardless, if he is your attorney, you will lose. Avoid this clown at all costs.

So called lawyer that didn’t communicate didn’t represent the client and essentially made the case worse than if their was no lawyer. It was clear that their was zero desire to represent the client snd suspicious behavior as if they had private deals with the court. Ruined 1 year which should have been 39 days at most. Don’t use this lawyer ever

He responded to me only 2 or 3 times and messed my case up so bad do not work with him

Mr. Sippell was named the attorney for my mother's estate when she passed away. He was nothing but professional and extremely helpful in getting everything settled. He will be the first attorney I would recommend for anyone needing a lawyer.

I would never hire this attorney. I recently retained him to handle a divorce matter for my daughter. I made an appointment with him on a Friday at 11am. When I showed up at the appointment, his office was locked and no one was there. That should have been sufficient warning to not hire him. I called him, and he said "there must have been a mix up" but I could drop off a check if I wanted him to get the hearing postponed which was scheduled for Monday. I was desperate so I paid him a retainer without a meeting. By Monday the circumstances in the case had changed. I called Mr. Sippell and informed him that my daughter would not be available for ANY court hearings, nor would I or he be able to contact her. He assured me that it was in her and my best interest to answer that complaint that her Husband had filed. That even in her absence he would be able to represent her interests as far as child custody & property distribution. He also told me that as the Grandmother of the children it would behove me to continue with his services so that he could insure a "Grandparent visitation clause" was added to the divorce decree. None of these things were done by Mr. Sippel. After taking my retainer check and assuring me that he would in fact be able to assist in this matter, he not only did not do one thing that he said he would, but he then proceeded to withdraw from my daughter's case stating "breakdown of communication with his client" when I had told him 2 days (the weekend) after giving him a retainer that my daughter was NOT going to be in a state to attend any meetings, court dates, hearings, etc. Nor would I be able to provide him with an address or phone number for her. Instead of doing the honorable thing and telling me, "look under these circumstances there really will not be much I can do to help your daughter's case, I will return your retainer" he made me believe that both my daughter and myself would benefit from retaining his services. In the end I might as well have flushed my money down the toilet as we got exactly the same result as if we had never hired Mr.Sippell. It was a complete waste of my money! I would never recommend hiring Kraig Sippell.
