Updated: The attorney is finally texted me back and let me know he got another court date for me,. I found out he got my case resolved when I received the “resolved confirm email” from his office with the court link to pay for my fee. I had to pay extra $50.00 for late payment. I still appreciate him that he did not lose my file this time and got me out without points. However, his office customers need to improve for customer communication. His office staff never did give me a call back (I left lots of voicemails messages asking them to give me a call back about my case). So I rate it to 2 star I hired him for my speeding ticket, and he missed my court date in this past July . I called him after receiving a letter from NC driving division saying that I was failure to appear in court and I will lose my driver license and may be in jail if I don’t solve the problem before this November coming. I called and told him about the letter , and he said that my file was missing on that day. He said that he is going to fix the problem. I don’t want he miss again this time because I didn’t want to lose my driver license, extra penalty money, and points on my record, so I have been called and texted to follow up my case. He has not answered either my text messages nor my phone calls. I called his office and left messages multiple times.I have not received even a call back from them,, and it has been almost 2 weeks already. Back in May when I called to hire him , he and his staffs picked up immediately and got my money right away, and then failed to do the job and trust that I gave them . Now he and hís staffs ignored my phone calls and messages. I don’t think they even deserve to have even 1 star. But without hit 1 star button. This review would not be completed and post public

WORST LAW FIRM. For a single ticket he missed my court date twice and as a result my DL got suspended for a year and I ended up paying $250 auto insurance per month. Don't trust this law firm, Mr.Skager cannot be trusted. PS. Not posting my name due to safety reasons.

Mr. Skager was very easy to work with and knowledgeable regarding my options. He always responded to my calls/emails in a timely manner and went above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend his services!

The worst law firm ever. I paid them to handle a traffic ticket in Guilford County. I had to pay a ticket much higher than the original one. Then they failed to tell me about having to pay to the courts and now I have late fees. I asked them why I had to pay the late fees when they failed to contact and inform me. This law office is very ineffective. They stated they were going to send me the late fee and acknowledged their error. I have yet to receive my late fee they promised. Don’t waste your time or money to hire them. Update: they did send me the late fee but they still get 1 star.

My wife got a ticket out of state and Eric got it reduced from points and a large fine to just a relatively small fine that didn't affect my insurance. I didnt have to do anything from the moment I retained him after a brief phone conversation until he emailed me instructions on how to pay my fine.
