Wondering if anyone else had a change to the parent's wishes that Skelton, Taintor & Abbott never communicated to them or the family. Difficult to deal with when no one returns a call or acknowledges receipt of information. I guess delaying or avoiding decisions is profitable. Being around 150 years is an accomplishment, but in this case it speaks more to limited choices. I see a lot more 1 ratings than 5s and most of the high ratings seemed dated. I wonder how many clients are repeat customers. No need to answer because it was really rhetorical.

Excellent representation. Christian Jones was calm, responsive, knowledgeable, and helped guide me through a very stressful situation. I felt well prepared and supported throughout the process. I would highly recommend his services.

Worst service ever. No call backs and when I finally made it through to someone, they couldn't even tell me if they were willing to help.

I had Sarah Mitchell for my attorney. I asked for evidence of bitcoin and other investments my ex had without my knowledge including our daughters college fund and because my ex said he didn’t “want” to share that information she never persued it. Years later I’m finding out he had over $10,000 in bitcoin and still won’t give our daughter her college fund. Sarah definitely does not have any experience with domestic abuse divorces and protection from abuse. I wish she had told me this in the beginning because I wasted around $15000.

I've called six times and left six messages in two weeks to a lady named Renee. I have not received one called back. The operator apologizes and says that she's probably busy. Interesting because other law firms do return my phone calls. Even when they are busy.

Led me on for months saying they'd review my case, never getting back to me. A simple sorry, but we're not interested would have been fine. From the beginning several emails were not answered, far from professional.

I had Sarah Mitchell for my attorney. When it comes to negotiating she is not very good at it. She is a push over and she didn’t fight for me. She just kept backing down to my ex’s attorney. Waste of time and money. She knew we were dealing with an abusive situation where I had a POA and she acted like we were on friendly terms. In the end there were a lot of loose ends that didn’t get taken care of and she was like well you can contact your ex for this information. No I can’t! My POA was extended because of finding of abuse and all she said was well we can bring him back to court but I will need another $3000 for retainer. In the year and a half this went on she never saw me in person even though I tried. She would only do zooms or email.

Have been trying to get a return call for weeks on an estate matter. No calls back, so I have to pay an attorney to reach this attorney. Do not do business with ST&A. Maybe they'll pay attention to me once they read the review?
