I wish they had a NEGATIVE 5 STAR REVIEW Rude, cold, and despicable are the words that come to mind after after my experience with Slingbaum.... Don't expect any people skills here, real customer service, respect or empathy. Say the wrong thing and they will drop your case immediately, or at least they did to me. While trying desperately to explain my Moms passing to the atty who kept interrupting over and over, in a moment of pain, frustration and anger, I told him he was pissing me off and I hung up the phone as I was about to fall apart. I was/am not dealing with her passing very well being it was unexpected and avoidable and wanted to bring those responsible to answer for what they had done to my Mom. Being an only child and my Dad having passed in 2013, I was alone in this world for the first time as well. Two days later, apparently his delicate ego was shattered. After 6+ months of working on the case, he dropped it! Just like that, I received the letter 2 days after the call to explain they could no longer assist with my case. I was even further devastated so I immediately called to apologize and explain my behavior as I've been in a deep state of depression over losing my best friend of 52 years, yet the atty wouldn't take my call. I literally begged the assistant that I was speaking with to please not drop the case and fell apart while doing so only to hear, "ok I'll be disconnecting the call now". I thought how could these people be soo cold? Although I pleaded and begged over and over with them to reconsider, these pleas feel upon ice cold ears. Heartless and cold to the very core. A little understanding would've went a long way but this shows the type of "people' you deal with here....or at least this is how I was treated. I don't appreciate your cold and unsympathetic demeanor or actions and will let anyone how I was treated by Slingbaum Law when facing the biggest loss in my life. Attorneys with egos so fragile one cross word and your "fired". This clearly demonstrates the character of someone so shallow that they couldn't extend a little understanding top a clearly hurt and lost sole and accept the apology and move forward. Heartless and cold people. I sincerely hope when the time comes, he is met with the same despicable response I was treated with. furthermore, I hope anyone reading this heeds my review and goes elsewhere for a firm that actually cares about thier clients as this one surely proves otherwise....
