I have had the unfortunate experience being in not 1, but a multitude of car accidents for no fault of my own. My first experience with Atty. Smith (Bayard) was in 2014. Being overwhelmed and vulnerable, I sought a free consult after someone recommended his services. Bayard put my mind at ease and offered a pathway ahead. I decided to hire him as legal counsel, so I could unburden myself, get better protection and simply focus on healing. While Bayard moved on from the firm, I still remembered a few suggestions he had made with regard to insurance coverages. Not only had he stood besides me during a legal process, but also brought some awareness into auto insurance which offered better protection in the future. In 2021, I was in my third car accident and injured. This was a multi-car collision where one of the cars engines caught on fire and people were also taken to the hospital via ambulance. The severity of this incident was compounded with the oddity of a “phantom driver” that could not be found by the authorities. Although I had not been in touch for a while, I sought Bayard’s services again. Bayard offered great counsel and I decided to retain his firm during this difficult time. Given that a multitude of parties were involved, my injuries and trying to juggle a work-life balance, Bayard was a great Attorney! At the start of our conversation the service was good but after i sent over all the documents she called me back and told me they wont be able to represent me. I simply was asking her to explain the word insurance in this case because i did not understand and she rudely hung up on my face. She couldve simply stated “i cant explain” or anything besides besides hunging up on my face. EXTREMELY INNAPROPIATE
