I miss one payment, I had been paying for at least 6 months, and they are starting the garnishment order. Ridiculous.
Poor service and they got at lies
Dealing with Snow & Sauerteig was one of the most unpleasant and dehumanizing experiences I’ve ever had with a company. After recently working with a different debt collector who was professional and transparent, it became painfully clear just how cruel and incompetent the people at this firm truly are. They are rude, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. They refuse to follow up with emails, will not provide a clear or itemized breakdown of costs, and communicate as if basic courtesy is an inconvenience. Any questions are met with attitude, condescension, or outright hostility. There is zero understanding, zero kindness, and zero effort to treat people like human beings. Financial stress is hard enough without being bullied by people who seem to take pleasure in being cold and unhelpful. This firm embodies everything wrong with the debt collection industry. If you have any alternative, take it. Snow & Sauerteig operate with a complete lack of transparency, empathy, or integrity. Avoid at all costs.
Currently I have been paying Snow & Sauerteig a monthly payment for about 3 years. Same amount per month. I received a court order and called to get better understanding and hopefully resolve the issue since I have stayed steady on my payments in good faith with an understanding that it would keep me from this situation. Now they told me on the phone yesterday that my money is not good enough and they need more to appease the client in which they allocated the funds to. The monthly payment is being split by them 70/5. They created said delegation of funds and somehow now this is my fault. My money isn't good enough after 3 years of payment 😪. Doing what you can to do what is good and right doesn't mean squat to greedy corporations no matter what.
Harley C, I have experienced poor customer service with her. When kept asking her questions then soon behaviors of sounding frustration. Im an older gentleman so I asked questions to further understand what was required of me (my memory isn't what it use to be) so I ask questions to make sure I understand things. If you are one of ppl who answers the phone, then I believe that you should remain professional the hold time and be able to not easily get frustrated and do what's required of you while serving the public or quit. If I was the owner, then I would playback all the voice recordings to see how she represents the company
Just filed to garnish my wages for an 11 year old judgement for a medical bill. Sent the papers to my boss. I’ve never heard of the bill. They’ve been sending paperwork to some address in a different town for 11 years…. I called and asked for a copy of the original bill, lady said they don’t keep records past 7 years. I’m confused. You garnish past 10 years but only keep records for 7 years???
Been paying a debt for years. Asked to have something sent to me showing how much I've paid with a break down of fees, interest etc. she said she couldn't do that because they aren't a billing company? The amount owed is the same amount I owed when I first started making payments years ago... I understand interest adds up....but I would still like to know where the $2,000 I've paid so far go? I'll never know because they don't provide that information.
It you want a lawyer with no ethical standards, and has the worst clients then they are the right fit for you! 👎
I really wished that I would be able to lower my payment arrangement I’m struggling as it is and they don’t care that I’m trying to catch up on all of my bills due to my previous employers not getting the hours and trying not to get evicted from my apartment and loosing my car just to pay them they don’t care if I do
I had a great experience with the gal I spoke with on the phone.
If I could leave a 0 star I would. I was doing a payment plan, then they stopped taking money so I figured it was done. Then I get a wage garnishment in the mail so I called to get back on a payment plan they messed up! This company won't take payment plans without 1/2 down (who has 5k sitting around in this economy) Your employer also charges a fee for them garnishing wages making it even difficult to survive.
Wish I could leave 0 stars. Entire office is rude and unprofessional and I would call their collection attempts nothing less than predatory. You would think that a collections company would send you a bill but nope, could not even get that far.
Explained in detail twice and provided evidence that the hospital had filed insurance incorrectly, and they still won’t leave me alone. Having to counter-sue.
why dont yall answer the phones
Attempted to return call twice and left a message because they called during work hours. When I finally got a hold of someone today a gentleman was extremely rude and blamed me for not making a payment plan. He stated neither here or there I need to make a payment. I explained that was the reason I was calling and still continued to be rude.
I spoke to Patrick on the phone regarding a debt collection. He was very pleasant and helpful. No issues whatsoever. Paid our bill, sent us a receipt, and we’re on our way.
The way that lady spoke to my wife Monday ws so so rude. Yes they are trying collecting a debt, BUT wouldn't listen to the fact we had insurance at the time said bill was put out and went to collections!! Now we have everything we need. Can't wait until we go to that office tomorrow!!!! Give her a taste of her own medicine, because NOW YOU OWE US US!!!!
organization is a joke from what I hear and my own personal experience. The staff is very rude. I had a debt from a hospital bill that I literally couldn’t pay because I was living paycheck to paycheck. I live alone and when I finally received a letter I called the company and a lady I think her name was Amanda or Mandy, started scolding me and started making claims that I didn’t want to get away from paying my debt and how I need to pay my bills on time. She did not care what I had to say. Also I went to court because they wanted to garnish my wages and an agreement for $150 was made and they did not honor the agreement and took $400 from my paychecks not once but a couple times until I had to make a complaint against them and they said I didn’t make an initial payment which I did. And because of their mistake I was literally on the brink of evictions because I couldn’t afford my rent and even pay for groceries. Terrible experience.
