I worked with Sowards Law Firm to create my estate plan and trust, and overall I had a very positive experience. After completing their intake form, the team truly handled everything end to end. Mr. Sowards himself took the time to walk me through the different trust structures and helped me choose the option that best fit my current situation as well as my long-term plans. That guidance was extremely valuable and gave me a lot of confidence in the decisions I was making. Following that, Hailey and the rest of the team were outstanding—very responsive, professional, and patient. They answered multiple questions, accommodated changes during the process, and worked closely with me to ensure the trust was structured exactly the way I wanted. Once things were underway, the entire process moved quickly and smoothly, and everything was completed within about 2–3 weeks. They even accommodated an earlier signing appointment due to my travel schedule, which I really appreciated. The only challenging part of the experience was scheduling the initial consultation. The firm is very strict about having the intake form completed by a specific deadline before the first call can be scheduled. I missed providing some information the first time, which resulted in my appointment being canceled, and the next available slot was nearly a month out. That was frustrating, although to be fair, it was due to me not submitting the requested information on time. That said, I do think the intake process could be clearer. It wasn’t obvious which information was critical for the first meeting versus what could be completed later. Clearer guidance there would make the onboarding experience smoother. Overall, once past the initial scheduling step, the experience was excellent. The team is knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely cares about getting things right. I would absolutely recommend Sowards Law Firm to anyone looking for a well-thought-out estate plan and trust, especially if you value long-term planning and professional guidance

Had a good experience creating an estate plan with Sowards Law Firm. Overall it was pretty quick, they accepted MetLife Legal Plan and answered all our questions.

Sowards Law Firm is a professional and trustworthy law firm. They assisted my family for establishing family trust. If you go along the processes they guided, things went through nicely and timely. The initial data collection phase took me hours and several try on-line. Watch out for a couple of places where it requires double confirm clicks. If not, data is not entered and resulted in incomplete process without warning. Screen showed "Completed" but it's actually not. Would be helpful if I was informed about which exact data was missing. Normally I would review document and draft before committing to any terms. This law firm DOES NOT provide any draft. Of course I got all documents in print and pdf after all done. It's quality work. It took me a leap of faith for such arrangement. At the end, it worked out nicely.

The attorney we worked with, Patty Setser, and all of the office staff were professional and pleasure to work with. The process was efficient and painless. From the initial intake meeting to completion of the process took just 6 weeks. This was a once-in-a-lifetime process for us, and we're glad we chose to work with such a large, well-established, reputable and successful firm like Sowards.
