Patrick Spott was very helpful and solid. My case was a title dispute that was very complicated and there were 110 years of relevant documents to make sense of. It was enough to drive me in circles until I decided to seek legal counsel. Patrick Spott made me feel very informed about my case and his team were able to research other cases similar to mine. These are things I simply could not do myself. He also responded to the city of Duluth, submitting documents, attending meetings, scheduling zoom calls, and ultimately leading my case towards resolution. The city of Duluth had a posture towards my case that made me very uncomfortable. It was absolutely worth it to bring in Patrick Spott, who was more familiar with the posturing and communication style of court/legal proceedings. His service was worth every penny. Hiring him let my focus return to my "real life" while occasionally reading summaries of his work sent to my email. Highly recommend Patrick Spott for his "bedside manner", his expertise in real estate matters, and his history in litigating with larger governmental agencies. 5 stars.

Was told that due to the small size of, Spott Law Office, they could not take a complex case such as mine. In a very Minnesota nice way, the Representative stated that it would take, "too many man hours and they don't offer contingency rates". I never asked for contingency. I was prepared to pay an hourly rate and for whatever reason I was deemed as someone who would not be able to pay. I still appreciated the call back. It was right before the holiday and it was even after hours when they returned my call. I wouldn't recommend this Law Firm to anyone. It's too small to handle complex cases.
