I was injured while working as a commercial fisherman. In addition to the physical drama, I was also put in the difficult position of having to decide whether to return to work after the accident or pursue legal aid. I ended up hiring Stacey and Jacobsen. While there are probably other capable other maritime lawyers in the Seattle area, both Joe and Jake were very good. They delivered the results that they anticipated. However, not being an expert on maritime law, I can't really describe how they acted as legal representatives. What I can attest to, more importantly, was that they treated me with respect the entire time. They were both very sympathetic to the fact that this was a stressful time for me, and never tried to convince me to do anything that I was uncomfortable with. They would lay all of my options with possible outcomes out on the table, and gave me as much information as possible for me to make a decision.
