If I could put zero stars I would. Would not recommend the Steller Legal Group/Jenelle Carlin or Amber Bighorse. I was in contract with them for my divorce for 8 months spent 8k for literally nothing to get done. They forgot about my case multiple times as they cycle through legal assistants so fast they can’t keep up with whose case they are on. I would have to call for them to respond to any email. Amber would constantly go on leave for medical reasons which is fine I understand that happens but there would be no communication when she was gone it was just like going ghost. At least communicate you’re going to be out of office. I finally got a new attorney and am having to restart the whole process. Just save yourself the headache/money and don’t work with them.

This law firm is such an unprofessional company. All lawyers I paid for were negligent in dealing with my very serious domestic violence case. I paid 5,000 for them to accomplish absolutely NOTHING. Not one task was completed at all and none of them even cared to know details about my case when the day of court took place. I can’t even ever get in touch with a person on the phone. Now after not being a client they are sending my privately disclosed address to the perpetrator and that is frightening that they would do that knowing how seriously violent my case is. As a domestic violence victim this firm definitely feels like they are abusing weak and vulnerable people and taking their money.

I really am not the kind of person to leave a review, but this will hopefully save someone the money, time and effort looking for an attorney. I hired Amber which was my primary attorney then she had a medical emergency so she no longer was my attorney. She was willing to work with me and allow me to make payments. Once David was my attorney he would hardly respond, I have given them lots of money over the course of 1 year. I am still NOT divorced. I was forced to hire another attorney (hopefully she gets things done) but this made me feel very frustrated and unheard. If you guys truly cared for your clients you would be understanding. I was forced to continue my divorced for another 6+ and hire another attorney for $3500 which is what they said it would have cost the same amount for them to rehire me. NO response I felt completely abandoned and i believe it’s wrong to do!! shame on you guys, i paid all that money and i was forced to move into my grandmas house because i couldn’t pay you guys and my rent at the same time all for you guys to withdraw last minutes THANKS!!

David and Natalie gave me plenty of helpful advice. Appreciate both of them.

David is an outstanding attorney who really cares. He’s honest and helped me every step of the way. I’m so grateful to be able to find a law firm I can trust. They got me my kids back and they didn’t try to price gouge me. Great business. Great people.

My experience with David was horrible. He was less than helpful and refused to accomplish simple tasks any attorney would be able to do. He refused to turn in declarations and was regularly impossible to get into contact with. I would have been better off representing myself as I was in a state of constant anxiety wondering if my materials would be turned in on time, let alone turned in at all. Having an attorney to help with family law matters should put you at ease, David and his paralegal did the exact opposite. I would never recommend this law firm to anyone. If I could rate their performance zero stars, I would. Heed this warning and steer clear of Steller Legal Group, as they are nothing but an extension of the failed Bighorse Law Firm.

Going through some of the most difficult times in my life David mayo has helped represent me which lead to me being rewarded full custody of my son. His knowledge and expertise is unmatched looking for representation. He’s definitely your guy.

Hiring STELLAR LEGAL group was one of the biggest mistakes David made me feel so comfortable in the beginning Once I paid my retainer fee I should’ve known better it took a whole month to debit my retainer fee They had excuse after excuse of why they haven’t took the money yet. Then once they did more excuses of why no one is calling me back very poor communication. You called their office and talked to the secretary. She always Say she gonna pass on the message, but she never does. Communication is horrible there Also, after I pay my retainer fee I had a court hearing Stella law group Claim to be so busy They called another firm to show up on their behalf. Then at the last minute they tell me I was Responsible for paying that lawyer when I already paid Steller LEGAL group to represent me This Lawyer showed up He didn’t say not one word on my behalf, but I got stuck with his bill make that make sense or how is that fair when I paid a law firm to represent me Then Steller Law group Was supposed to set up a mediation Take money out of my account For two weeks, I told them to take the money The secretary kept saying is not her job. She were relayed a message come to find out the message was never relayed To anyone Then they say it was my fault so they took my money And withdrawal I ask for David to give me a call to find out what was going on He didn’t even have the courtesy To call me They didn’t even tell me they had withdrawn from my case for no reason This law firm will talk nice to you to get your money, but there’s no communication here And trust and believe when I say one excuse after another, the excuse is never Stop When you have to beg a law firm to take your money the red flags was there Then they try to use the Lawyer that I finally got she represented Britney Spears And she’s a good lawyer was all agamic and butter you up Do not Let a person come across friendly fool you One more thing I had to go to court the judge said they had no paperwork in on my be Be careful when choosing People to represent you And give your money to

I needed representation and he was quick and efficient.

I had never a positive experience with the system or attorneys for that matter. When David called me to consult i immediately had an ease of mind after talking to so many beforehand that just made me panic more. Every question or worry I’ve had he’s answered in the most honest way even if it’s hard to hear. I did everything in my power to get my daughter back in Washington state after her father took her across the country, it took 3 months and I was getting no where. Within the first week of hiring David he got my daughter back within 48 hours and made sure I had the support and help I needed. I couldn’t recommend this group more and especially David. I will always go to him for any family law matter from here on out.
