Dr. Gordon Is always pleasant and has done multiple surgeries for my family. I always request him when I need a General Surgeon.

He is very professional, went over my procedure, step by step, very friendly and down to earth! My surgery went very well, it’s been 2 weeks postop and my incisions are healing very nicely from my gallbladder surgery! I would highly recommend him! Stephanie, his assistant, is so sweet and kind and helps you in every way possible! I will definitely go back to him for future surgery needs!

I met Dr Gordon for the first time the evening prior to him performing my surgery. This man was so nice and personable that despite my anxiety about surgery in general, I felt quite at ease with him. I don’t want to have any future surgeries but should I need a general surgeon again I will definitely choose Dr Gordon hands down!

Very good doctor, very experienced , and easy to talk to , each time I've been to his office , the staff and him always seemed to be in a good mood , Doctor Gordon did my surgery and it was by far the least painful of the two I've had before this, third and most recent hernia repair performed by Dr Gordon seem to be really good so far , actually recovering pretty quickly With any surgery there is no guarantee but the chances of having a success go up significantly with an experienced surgeon

Refused to provide an interpreter or any type of communication access for my father who is Deaf. This doctor completely discriminated against him and refused to see him despite the fact that he needed surgery and was referred by his primary care physician. Very unprofessional! This situation will be escalated!

Dr. Gordon is such a great surgeon that in 2016 when he did my procedure I told him I couldn't wait to see him again for another surgery. He and his staff are totally professional, friendly, great to be around, trustworthy and flat out awesome! Here I am and excited to have him do surgery on me again in 2019! I can't wait!

Stephen, is funny, enthusiastic, loving, cool, awesome, chill, swag, dope, glamorous, elegant, aspiring, powerful, strong, careful, clever, smart, happy, silly, jolly, kind, lively, witty, and proud. He is a loving father to 3 adorable children and is currently a star drummer in the Baton Rouge band, the V Tones.

He is nice, funny, and real.......I felt really comfortable. Pleasant experience!

Maybe Dr. Gordon has grown in his profession, but I worked with him in 2006 and 2009 and had a horrible experience with him. I worked with him twice because he botched my hernia repair two times. He was friendly, but totally incompetent and went out of his way to dishonestly cover up his mistakes. After his second surgery failed just days later, he tried to use a bogus ultrasound to "prove" that the hernia had not returned, but one of his senior colleagues was able to confirm that his surgery did indeed fail and was able to correct it. I hope Dr. Gordon has learned from his mistakes, because in 2009, he was a quack and a crook.

He's everything you need and want in a surgeon. I have no words, to describe how heaven sent he is and has been. From my first operation a few years ago until now. His nurse Ms. Stephanie is the sweetest you'll ever meet. His personality puts you at ease from the time you meet him. I couldn't ask for more in a doctor period.

I had my first visit with Dr. Gordon on yesterday. He's really wonderful. He took time to sit and talk with me about what needed to be done. Such a breath of fresh air compared to the 2min pushy Drs I've seen in the past. I will be recomending him to everyone.

I really loved Dr. Gordon. He's so approachable, and talking with him feels like you've known each other for years. It's rare that I feel comfortable in a doctor's office, so I feel pretty lucky to have found him. I highly recommend him!

I have had the pleasure to be acquainted with Dr. Gordon via St. Jude School. Dr. Gordon volunteers his time with the sports programs as needed. I have found him to be very approachable, genuine and displays great character.
