Now that I can say something other than Thank You, I would like to applaud Steppacher Law: they were instrumental in getting my disability approved, and in a timely, no-nonsense fashion. They were with me every step of the way, and for that I am most appreciative!

Steppacher law firm did a fabulous job at getting me approved for my SSI. They were very professional and very patient and very knowledgeable. I want to thank Jessy for always being there when I needed some clarification, she was understanding, patient and kind . This law firm really cares about their clients and returns callls and emails quickly. Thank you Steppacher for making this experience more bearable. I highly recommend them with 5 stars!

I first want to start by saying that if I could give this firm 6 stars I would lol there’s lots of mixed reviews but I can honestly say that my experience was superb & the staff was exceptional. They kept in communication with me, they sent me paperwork, always followed up with me. Always left me a voicemail If they couldn’t reach me -they were always very respectful. Very pleasant. I never dealt with any attitudes or anybody that seemed like they didn’t really wanna hear what I was saying. I had reached out to a few attorneys and they didn’t wanna take my case because it was getting kind of close to the court date, but I was referred to this firm and they took it and they were able to get everything done in time and I was able to get my claim approved With their help at my hearing. The attorney contacted me days before the hearing to prep as well a few minutes Before the hearing for another recap and refresh, so I was definitely prepared. I would definitely recommend them 100%

I would like to start out by saying that regardless of any negative reviews that I’ve read on here, understand what goes into filing and getting approved for disability before filing or making negative remarks to those who are helping you with what is a taunting task. Laziness is not grounds for Disability and laziness is the last thing you’ll receive from this Law Office. I don’t think people realize how much paperwork between filing medical records and appeals is truly needed. I know my case alone had Records that needed to be received from several different medical institutions, two of which were out of state. And I will admit that you aren’t always in contact with the attorney who is handling your case, but I have never been involved with a law practice with not one but several paralegals that are more than what anybody would be considered above average. No offense to Attorney Steppacher but I have to give 90% credit to his office of paralegals which in return compliments him as an attorney who doesn’t put his reputation into the average paralegal. My opinion is that he has a high standard for his team because his clients receive a high standard of legal representation. And before you file understand that you’re dealing with a government agency (SSI) & they set the dates for any claims, no one else. The only thing you can do to make sure it gets done as quickly as possible, is to be present & available to provide the team that you hired any assistance with records that they may need. Do what they ask of you & understand that just because you’re filing for disability doesn’t mean that you’re not capable of putting some effort into YOUR claim. Nothing bothers me more than to read negative comments about good people because of a few who think that this office is getting rich off of your claim & decides that they’re entitled to do nothing. I’m a firm believer that if you truly are in need then you are truly humbled & are grateful for any assistance that you receive. I will end with this & please don’t let this reflect any negativity to anyone else employed by Attorney Steppacher because as I said, the whole office is ready at any time to help in any way but I do want to give a specific thank you & appreciation to Jess. You honestly deserve a lot of credit with my case as it was more complex than the usual claim & if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have been able to be as patient or calm as long as it did take but you always made yourself available & ALWAYS made sure that my questions were answered & understood clearly no matter how long it took. You have no idea how much I really do appreciate all of your time & taking the time to have a conversation as if I was talking to someone I’ve known for years. Thank you & if I had any leverage, I would be pressuring someone to give you a raise LOL!!!

Female attorney does not respond to emails and will avoid phone calls when you have questions/comments. Will go over everything last minute giving you no chance to really prepare yourself or your case. As a person with NO law experence, I had no idea of things that may have helped my case until after we spoke. Sent emails regarding said things, but never a reply. As someone with very high anxiety, a lack of reply definitely did not help any. Totally unprofessional and a lack of care for her clients. Do not recommend.

They denied me because it wouldn't be an easy case according to them and then they lied about it-- update looking back it was something that got another thing mislead. 3 stars partly cause it never got resolved and we both just left it that way

Lawyer couldn't be bothered to call my brother back even when he stressed the importance of his SSD details ! According to the staff, he'll only contact you the day before the hearing and other messages were ignored by the assistant or just never answered back ( apparently they are ignored since the one response with poor communication skills was " you spoke with someone from our office 19 times between this to that month" 🤔 )speaking with someone from the office is very different than speaking with you ! There should be more communication with your clients , but since there are decent reviews it makes you question whether there's clients you take more seriously or care more about the outcome then others . He even had to call the office on his own that too long ago after the judge had an emergency and there was no new response about a new day and time so my brother had to call the social security office on his own! It could of been better then 6 months later if someone from you're office had called sooner than 2 or 3 weeks after the first hearing was supposed to be before the judge had an emergency . My brother has never talked to this attorney yet and he's supposed to be his attorney getting paid a percentage of his disability plus costs ! It's one thing to be busy , but if this is the way you do things , I'm going to suggest to him he find different representation of someone who will talk to him more than once during the entire time he's representing him and hope anyone reading this who wants to talk to a good attorney , not just the assistant at your office . So many people are disabled out there who need someone they could count on, someone who will take them and their case seriously ! It's almost as if you take on cases you think have a good chance at winning , but refuse to do more than the bare minimal . Alot of people in this state count on their lawyers and don't know any better . Shame on yas !!

Response from owner

Ms. Williams, please remove your fake review with a fake scenario under a fake name. There is more than one attorney in the office. You have spoken with an attorney in our office multiple times. Your hearing was postponed because the judge was ill and canceled the hearing. We do not schedule the hearings, as you know. You calling the hearing office made no difference. I'm not sure why your hired us if you think you know how this process works better than us.

UPDATE: I didn’t get the outcome the law firm was looking for at the hearing. I haven’t heard from them either? I wasn’t expecting anything else but what the Decision was. I’m ok with that and I will see how it goes with time. OLDER REVIEW: The personality of the gentleman that was there to represent me was very nice. I have never met him before and I don’t know what to think? I will update this once I have an outcome. It will be based on many things. I will not however, base it on whether I win or lose. Strictly the professionalism of how I was treated and the outcome of it all. More later.

I thank everyone at Steppacher Law for getting my disability approved and my back payment. I could not have done this myself everything was so confusing for me, they did all the work from getting my records to fighting my denials. Everytime I called I was met with words of understanding and compation towards me. All I had to do is listen and get my tasks done like making my appointmens and updating them with my record details. Thank you Steppacher Law

sad excuse for a lawyer. horrible communication and was very rude up front. I would recommend going anywhere but him.

Response from owner

We have never represented anyone named "Rebecca Palmer"...

Writing on behalf of a former client. The lawyer has very poor communication skills. I was kept out of the loop and when I asked for documents he refused to send them to me.

Response from owner

A client's records are confidential. We cannot send them to a relative without authorization from the client.

Steppacher Law was wonderful in getting my disability case rolling. I received my back payment quickly. Then I received a call from them assigning an agent to help me decide on on my Medicare plan 6 months later. It was a wonderful surprise since it was very confusing and I had a lot of doctors that I needed Coverage for. It made the transition easy. I’d recommend Steppacher law for anyone needing help in expediting disability.

I honestly can't see anything about their performance. But basically unless they feel they can make a small fortune on you they will not take your case. Even when you press the point that they are supposed to be doing this job that they supposedly offer they will tell you no you're not severely hurt enough... 🤔
