Steve took the time to travel to Bismarck, ND to provide some training to attorneys on understanding how to help people who have suffered brain injuries, including those arising from low speed car accidents. He later followed up with me on email by exchanging ideas and sending me some notes regarding his ideas and research on different issues. He did not ask for anything in return from me. A year later, I was able to make a difference for a client using some of his ideas. He is a smart, authentic, and driven attorney, and I highly recommend him.

They claim to be, "Arguably the best", which for me has yet to be proven. I called today about my auto accident and was told, "the case is too hard". So Ms. Dunbar, the woman I spoke to, proceeds to refer me to another lawyer in Southfield. Wait a minute! Isn't this firm "Arguably the best"? If the best has to refer me to someone else, they aren't the best. BEWARE: Anytime a law office refers you, they get a portion of your settlement, if the firm they referred you to wins, its called a referral fee. If my case is too hard and you're not doing the hard work, why should you get paid?

I'm an attorney, but I do not handle litigation and/or auto cases. My mother was struck by a vehicle while walking, and her injuries were catastrophic. I contacted Steve to determine how to proceed, to understand how I could best help and advocate for my mom as she moved through various phases of medical treatment, followed by in and out-patient rehab, and ultimately, hopefully back home with attendant care. I also wanted to understand the pitfalls, and biggest risks (financial and otherwise) my mom would face as we proceeded.
