Untrusted worthy and a big disappointment. Attorney Rhonda Wood mislead me and my husband to believe we had a good malpractice suit against the VA. 9 months into our case the emails stopped being answered from her paralegal, no phone calls to let us know what was going on. Then we get a phone call from Ms Wood to telling us our case is not worth pursuing. Attorney Rhonda Wood robbed us of 11 months of our time, when we could have been looking for another law firm to handle our case. All we got from her was a phone number to the Indiana Bar Association which did us no good because they don’t recommend Attorneys. Now we basically have only a few months until our 2 years runs out and we can’t file a lawsuit. I would think twice before hiring Rhonda L Wood. I do not recommend.

THEY GOT MAD AT ME FOR ASKING TOO MANY QUESTIONS REGARDING MY CASE AND DROPPED ME AND TOLD ME GOODLUCK FINDING A NEW LAWFIRM TO TAKE MY CASE BECAUSE MY DEADLINE WAS ALMOST UP!!! I WORKED WITH THESE PEOPLE ALMOST THREE YEARS!!!!! AND BECAUSE I WAS QUESTIONING SOMETHING THAT SEEMED OFF THEY GOT MAD, SAID THE RELATIONSHIP HAD DIMINISHED AND THEY NO LONGER REPRESENT ME. MY 10 DAY OLD BABY WAS LEFT DEAD BY HER OB AND THEY DROPPED MY CASE FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN A SIMPLE MISUNDERSTANDING I WAS QUESTIONING!!!!! IVE SPOKEN TO MANY OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD SOME NASTY EXPERIENCES HERE AS WELL AND I CAUTUON ANYONE WHO WANTS JUSTICE TO STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I would like to addend this original post. After some significant persistence on my part, Dave Stewart did pay my bill in its entirety. I do appreciate him honoring his committment. It is a well known fact that many legal cases benefit from "expert witnesses" - the law firm of Stewart and Woods is known to seek out these experts to help with your lawsuit. Yet, beware, your best experts will not be available to you when it is learned that Stewart and Wood do not honor the committment of payment to these experts. Many hours of tedious work and research - a promise of payment but no follow through. VERY dishonest and disheartening. A fair warning to any future "expert witnesses" ... despte what they say, you will be taken! Clients and experts - go elsewhere to find honesty and integrity.

Do not work with David. He doesn't do what he says, he is worthless. He filed with the wrong judge, he got the date of death wrong for a death case, he does nothing when he says he will.

David Stewart has been amazing to work with. He is helpful, prompt and has gone out of his way to help my husband and I. Very responsive to calls and emails. We appreciate all he has done to help us.

I contacted Mr. Stewart after a car accident that I had been involved in. It had been a few weeks after the accident and I wasn't even sure if I had a case. Mr. Stewart was amazing to work with, he was on the ball, he stayed in constant contact and worked hard to get me a settlement without ever going to trial. I had a lot of anxiety about the process, however, Mr. Stewart made it extremely easy and stress free. He did all of the leg work and only called me when absolutely necessary.
