If you want to be ripped off, this is the company for you. If you want to have negligible communications, and absolutely no follow through, then this company is for you. If you want to put a huge deposit down for services and never receive any compensation or settlement after your car was totaled and the other driver was drunk, this is the company for you. Do not, Do not hire this company. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

These lawyers are not out for you they are cowards of lawyers cowards of people not real lawyers not out to help you their only to benefit themselves. typical lawyers. What this company says underneath here is a lie and I'm going to prove it. Except when you're constitutional and civil rights have been violated, denied the right to attorney , you ask them for an opinion, this is what they do. When they're working an active case for you. Things that I noticed with this law firm. 1. You can't ask how to proceed in legal matters. 2. poor communication. 3. ask the same question multiple times in different ways, still no answer. 4. Give you the impression you matter. 5. Tell you to express yourself then punish you for it. 6. Not about facts or truth. 7, will not be truthful. As my experience you should also know. If you've had your constitutional and civil rights violated denied the right to an attorney, assaulted by men in uniform. When you show them to get their opinion that you've had your constitutional and civil rights violated denied the right to an attorney, they Don't care that you've been denied the right to an attorney that should say everything about this lawyer firm. They pat you on the back they ask you to express yourself and then when you do. You receive an email that they can't help you no more because you expressed yourself. This law firm is an at your own risk. As they do not support we the people like they say. They'll lose information important information important documents, they'll lose it and then discharge you when you get upset about them losing that important information. Then they find that information and can't even apologize to you for misplacing it in the first place. On a side note you should never let important documents like that leave your site that was my mistake.

I called in to this law group to help as I was considering filing bankruptcy, initially the process seemed pretty straightforward. I was told the initial consultation was free and after the representative answered questions decided to move forward. I was told that I could cancel the process at anytime if need be, but in order to even start moving forward I had to pay $2700 before any paperwork could be submitted. After making 3- 4 months of payments, with little to no contact, I decided to not move forward and take a different approach. The only interactions I had with the group was phone calls to remind them of payments that were scheduled but not taken out, or to adjust the amount on another occasion. When I requested to cancel the process and to initiate a refund, they told me they would draft up a bill and send a check. Weeks later the bill was $720 for my “free consultation” and 3 phone calls made to make sure they were getting paid. When I asked for the process to be explained, it was a cold response based on what was in the retainer agreement. This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve had in a long time, and if your considering the bankruptcy process, find a more trust worthy or empathetic firm. I will see how long the remaining amount will take to be returned, but I hope this review helps someone think twice before moving forward. Highly disappointed…

Response from owner

Thank you for your feedback. While I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience, I believe there is a significant misunderstanding regarding the bankruptcy process that we would like to clear up.

We offer free consultations and interest-free payment plans because we genuinely want to help families in financial distress. However, it is important to understand that in a bankruptcy firm, work begins the moment a client signs an agreement—long before a petition is filed with the Court. This "pre-filing" phase involves extensive legal analysis, financial due diligence, collection and verification of financial information, the auditing of mandatory supporting documents, and eventually the technical drafting of the formal petition and disclosures required for the Court.

Our firm bills for this substantive legal preparation; we do not, as a rule, bill for exclusively payment-related communications. If a client’s circumstances improve, and they no longer require bankruptcy, we prepare the file for termination and return any unearned funds.

When we are months into representation, there is intensive preparation for the expected bankruptcy filing. While it is understandable that paying for a service you ultimately did not need is frustrating, refunds are calculated based on the progress of the file; the amount returned is an accurate reflection of the legal labor performed. We are genuinely happy that your financial situation improved, and we wish you the very best.
I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding support I received from Stone Rose Law with my VA benefits claim. The VA disability process was completely new to me, but their team's expertise was a tremendous help. They meticulously reviewed my medical records to build the strongest possible case, identifying the correct conditions to claim and the best strategy for submission. Their team was responsive, provided guidance at every stage, and ensured all of my needs were met. I highly recommend Stone Rose Law to any veteran navigating the complexities of the VA system.

I cannot warn people enough about this law firm — absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with attorneys. For over 2 years, this firm completely stalled and neglected my sister’s case. They failed to file a critical motion in time, despite repeated follow-ups from us via phone, email, and messages. We were kept completely in the dark with zero meaningful communication — calls and emails went unanswered for months at a time. When they finally dropped us, they blamed "no communication" from our end, which is a flat-out lie. The real problem was their paralegal Darcy, who dropped the ball entirely and didn't collect or handle the necessary documentation. Instead of fixing it, the firm fired her and then used that as an excuse to abandon the case. They have went with multiple different people during this time. Recently, attorney Colby personally dropped us with the same bogus "no communication" claim, even though we had been chasing them constantly. They made excuses like employees being "sick" or unavailable, which felt like straight-up lies to cover their inaction. Nothing substantive was ever done on the case despite our persistence. This level of incompetence, dishonesty, and lack of diligence has caused us serious harm and potential loss of our legal rights. At this point, I am thinking this law firm got bribed from the other party that we supposed to take legal action against. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state bar regarding their violations of ethical duties (communication, diligence, etc.). If you're considering this firm, run the other way — find lawyers who actually respond and do their job. 0/10, do not trust them with anything important.

I'm sorry that you feel the way you do. Unfortunately, it appears that your family member has withheld some VERY important facts from you. Out of respect, I won’t share them in a public forum.

I feel compelled to address the obvious slander that our decision to discontinue representation was because of collusion with the other side. Your family member knows exactly why we were unable to continue representation- and I assure you that it has nothing to do with the opposing side.

Additionally, I think that even with all of the other issues in the case, we can agree that communication is important in civil litigation. Despite your assertions otherwise, your family member was not communicating with us and that turned a bad situation into a really bad one.
I genuinely wish your family member the best. Good luck.
The process for increasing my rating was a long and tedious, but this company assured me that the difficult aspect would be covered by them. Since day one, they have reassured me that they will do everything they can to increase my overall rating. I recommend Stone Rose 100 percent.

Very unresponsive. Reached out for help with VA claims, because my VSO was unresponsive and found them to equally as unresponsive. Multiple emails sent with no reply. UPDATE - they responded to this review stating that they declined to take me as a client in December. Which is FASLE. Bold faced lie. I didn’t sign their papers after the first call because I still had a lot of moving parts and had some additional questions. Additionally I never implied I was a client in my review, simply stated I reached out and asked some questions via email in which you were unresponsive. I am adding some photos proving what I just stated. Which show that I received documents on 11/24 to sign after my initial call on 11/22. Then I received a follow up email on 12/4 from Carlos about those documents, asking to complete them or seeing if I had any questions. Then you can see I sent emails on 12/10, 12/13, 12/16, 1/12, and another on 1/12 with the last just asking to resend fee structure and letting them know I wanted to start asap once I had a decision. This showcases that unless you sign on immediately with them they are not interested in answering any of your questions even if you have full intent to hire them. Additionally the blatant lie in the response is concerning and instead of owning the mistake, reaching out to me addressing my emails and putting in the effort to correct, they respond lying and asking me to take the review down.

Response from owner

Thank you for taking the time to rate us. I reviewed the notes on your file and would like to ask you to take down the 1 star review. Without going into any details, we declined to take your case in December. We timely responded to nearly every email that you have sent since then. Your review implies that you were a client and that our service (which we strive each and every day to make as excellent as possible for our clients) was somehow lacking. In light of the actual facts, that is incredibly misleading. Therefore, I would once again humbly and respectfully ask you to remove this one star review.

Stone Rose Law helped me obtain my goal percentage. Sierra was my case manager/attorney. She walked me through all the steps, listened to my concerns and worked out a plan WITH me. This is the first time in decades I felt that someone was on my side! I recommended 5 of my veteran friends.

I retained Stone Rose to assist with furthering my VA disability claim and was ultimately very disappointed with the experience. Despite rave reviews, I was utterly shocked by the lack of professionalism that this firm brings to the table. All communication was inconsistent and frequently failed to occur despite it being scheduled. My case was passed among multiple case managers, with little coordination or familiarity with my file. The only time that claims were filed were after follow-up emails threatening to withdraw consent from the firm to manage my case. There was absolutely no substantive advocacy on my behalf. The only meaningful progress in my case resulted from my own independent efforts, including pursuing a claim I was advised not to file, which ultimately succeeded AND resulted in Stone Rose getting a payout. In contrast, the VA itself was timely and professional; the delays I experienced were always attributable to Stone Rose’s lack of action and follow-through. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Stone Rose to veterans seeking professional, engaged or effective representation. I urge all veterans to file on their own, as you are your own greatest advocate. Addendum to Stone Rose's reply below: I came to Stone Rose with an already high rating that was filed prior to retaining them with the sole hope that they could advance a few claims that I felt were overlooked by the VA. Stone Rose advised that I should not pursue one of these issues due to historical lack of success. I was adamant about pursuing the claim further, to which Stone Rose filed the paperwork. They did not brief me prior to the appointment or help in any other way. I was awarded the claim I was told not to bother pursuing, while the other claims that were supposed to be a "slam dunk" per their case manager all got denied. Stating that my "success was a result of your efforts" is not only patently false but grossly disingenuous. Your firm did not move the needle and advised against filing a claim for a legitimate service-connected complaint, while attempting to take credit for a zero percent success rate on my case. Additionally, your case manager Benjamin told me that the "clear and unmistakable error" claims filed would take months, while the VA had them closed out in weeks. While the VA is traditionally to blame for issues with timeliness, this is not one of those cases. The response by your firm clearly proves my points made above. It is a shame that you are able to reply so quickly to my review while your case managers are content to ignore requests for communication or schedule calls that they do not show up for.

Response from owner

Thank you for your feedback. We love to get 5 star reviews, but sometimes it’s the 1 star’s that are the inspiration for improvement. We reviewed your file and concur that your primary complaint is absolutely valid. It took an inordinate amount of time to successfully assist you. However, most if not all of those delays were the result of the glacier like pace that the VA sometimes operates. We try to explain the process to our clients up front, but apparently, we failed to do so appropriately in your case. I have taken this opportunity to reiterate to our team that we need to stress that we can only operate as quickly as the VA allows. As far as your other complaint that the success of your claims was not a direct result of the work we did, that is incorrect. All of your success was directly a result of our efforts. If you’d like to discuss that more, so we can explain what we did, we’d be happy to (and hopefully we earn back a couple of stars when we show you)

These guys are unbelievable. I heard about them through speaking with other veterans. I went to them not knowing what to expect. I went from 0 to 100% T&P VA. rating. To this day I still can not believe what they have done for me but I do know I am grateful to them.
