They like to rob the lower class. They charge us unnecessary HOA fees, just so they can hire their own lawyers to go after homeowners that are not paying their fees. If you don’t pay, they put a lien on your home. Here we are a year later and they still haven’t returned our fees that they promised.

I called the lady on the phone was not helpful at all ! I’ve never had to reach out to an attorney or law office so some of the questions I had were quickly dismissed. Couldn’t even reference me to someone who may be able to help.

I brought my aunt here for her appointment with Straughn and Turner. She trusts and depends on these people for her business needs.

We have used this attorneys' office twice for the closing of two of our houses. Our closing agent is an experienced professional and works to expedite the process in an incredible amount of time. The attorney's office is pleasant and the receptionist is professional and accommodating.

They never returned my phone call. 😡

I wanted to take the time to share our experience with this law firm. in my opinion, they are not good and are very unprofessional. Our family brought home back in September of 2020 and this was the company they used for title and deed; Big mistake; as you can see they are still not allowing people in their office due to COVID!!!!!!!! Although Covid restrictions have been lifted. Our family and parents wanted to have us on the Title and Deed as we are in all of their homes and are very involved in not only their care but also securing their welfare and assets.. They brought the home in September 2020 after I was informed that I could be there the day of signing upon arriving at the signing; they declined us to be there and we were not able to protect our parent's assets. Today (May 28,2021, I called simply to see if this is something we can fix and what would our options be and this woman Stacey who has been nothing but a heartache thru this entire process has again accused us of calling and wanting to do this with out our parent's knowledge and went not o explain how it is illegal and we can not just call and request this. I simply stood on the phone and listened to her accusations which in my opinion were very inappropriate. keep in mind this is nearly a year ago since we are three months shy of making a year in the new home. And still women was being difficult ; She then went on to say again " just know that you can not call and we cannot simply add you on the title and deed, your parents have to be involved. It's insane because I simply called to get information on what this law firm was willing to do since they restricted us from being in the building on signing day (again due to Covid). Again Stacey a inappropriate position and assumed why I was calling, when in fact I simply was doing what my parents wanted which was to inquire about the process since this would have been FREE when they were doing the signing yet today Stacey is telling us that this will not only cost $800 plus dollars there will also be attorney fees. so this is us sharing our story in hopes to help others while using this law company for your home needs because the public should know and this is my fifth amendment freedom of speech. At the end of the day, there thoughts and opinions are irrelevant and you have to have people helping you that support your families well beings and want to help protect your assets. unfortunately, now we have to pay all of this money which could have been avoided. There is nothing we can do to change as Stacey went on to explain, But we are in control of who we choose moving forward and it definitely will not be Straughn and Taylor as they have done our family wrong in this process. And we will most definitely take our business elsewhere. so just make sure you're making a well-informed decision when it comes to your title company, please do the research and make sure they do not restrict you of your rights, because you will end up like our family. Make sure you use a company that fights for your desires and will and not simply assume what they do not know.
