Outstanding Legal Support from Wright State Student Legal Services I was recently involved in a car accident where the other driver was at fault and insured through Progressive. Initially, Progressive agreed to cover the full cost of the damages to my car. However, after 10 days, they changed their decision based solely on the other driver’s statement and refused to cover the damages. Unsure of what to do next, I reached out to Student Legal Services at Wright State University. From the moment I connected with Stephanie M. Allen, the Managing Attorney, I felt supported and understood. I explained the situation in detail, and she immediately began following up with Progressive, guiding me through each step of the legal process. Despite our efforts, Progressive continued to deny responsibility, so after about a month and a half, we proceeded to file a lawsuit against the opposing party. Stephanie prepared me thoroughly for court—explaining how to present myself, what to say, how to ask questions, and what to expect during the hearing. Thanks to her detailed guidance and constant support, I was able to represent myself in court with confidence. The opposing party even hired an attorney, but I still won the case! A special thanks also goes to Jennifer Irene Lenos, the office administrator, who ensured all paperwork was handled efficiently and scheduled all my meetings with Stephanie promptly.
