This firm has guided my husband and me through the process of establishing a Trust. It came in full use upon the recent passing of my husband. The office worked as a team expressing kindness and competence. We have a Revocable Trust originally created over 20 years ago. Since then life changing events occurred prompting us to re-evaluate our Trust as we found it contained outdated code references and its design no longer met our current needs and goals. We found Abigail Jaquette of the Surratt Law Practice here in Reno, Nevada to help us update the Trust. She was wonderful to work with. Abigail worked with us to develop a more realistic, comprehensive plan for the eventual distribution of our estate. She included provisions for the special needs of one of our children. She incorporated language in the Trust to allow our proposed Trustee to administer the estate in the least stressful manner. She worked with us to properly understand and best create funding mechanisms for our estate. And, she answered the many questions and concerns we had to protect our estate in these complex times including the simple task of Homesteading our new home, a process we never properly understood. During this process we were grateful to be able to contact her or her staff at any time to clarify issues that arose during this process. We updated our Wills, Power of Attorneys for both health and general, and the Revocable Trust. We highly recommend Abigail and this law firm to anyone needing help with estate planning.

Honestly, I can't say enough positive things about my experience with this firm. Abby (lawyer) & Heather (paralegal) were the two amazing women handling my contract for my Gestational Carrier agreement (which is myself) and they were prompt every step of the way. Abby spent almost 2 hours with me on a phone call going over all the fine details of my contract and helped advise on what I should change and what I should keep. She and Heather made sure everything was sent in a timely manner and we had our contracts signed with my IPs lawyer within two weeks! Truly amazing and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
