I had the pleasure to work with Attorney Suzanne Ferguson and I was facing 2 felony charges where I could have faced jail time, probation, and lose my job. It was for charges that I never even committed but I still was facing an uphill battle and I turned to Ms. Ferguson and she took my case. I am a military veteran with service connected PTSD. Years after service I found myself facing three felonies. After a full mental health panel assessment conducted by the VA and County Mental Health, the charges brought forth against me were found to be correlated with PTSD from my military service. As such, I was found eligible for County Veterans Court, which is something many veterans, active service members, and civilians do not know exist. However, Mrs. Ferguson did not only know it existed but she was well versed in presenting cases before Veterans Court itself. Facing several years in prison, she represented me with professionalism and diligent knowledge of the law. Additionally, she was polite and reasonably available to quickly bring answers to any questions myself or my family may have had. Attorney Ferguson is truly amazing! She represented my teenager for traffic court. She doesn’t make promises and she doesn’t make you feel worse after you have contacted her concerning your case. I have made several attempts at writing a review to describe just how grateful I am to have recently had Suzanne represent my fiancé; yet, I still struggle to find the appropriate words to convey just how appreciative my fiance, his family, friends, and I are to have had her in our corner. She is not only there for her clients, but for the family as well. She is totally aware of the hurt and anxiety the family is experiencing, and she was extremely compassionate and was able to keep all of us level-headed. She taught us to trust the process, and to allow her to do her job. We knew Suzanne had other cases, but she certainly makes you feel like your case is her one and only. She was communicative and ALWAYS available. In difficult times, you rely on your family for support; Suzanne became a HUGE part of our support system. My fiance was looking at LIFE in prison.
