Working with Sweet James was honestly one of the most frustrating parts of my whole situation. Once I signed on, Communication dropped, calls/texts went unanswered. Updates were random and inconsistent. I felt like I was chasing them down for basic information about my own case (which makes no sense when you’re the client.) When they sent me to physical therapy It was 15 sessions of laying on a massage table for 15 mins that did absolutely nothing maybe getting one or 2 “adjustments”. Legal situations are already stressful enough, you’re trusting these people to handle something so big in your life. The bare minimum should be clear communication. Instead I felt ignored and brushed off. I expected professionalism and responsiveness. I expected to feel like me and my case mattered. That was not my experience. These people are useless. After 2 awful years with them they made more money than I did and I’m left with a permanent injury. DO NOT LET THEM ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR CASE!!! These past 2 years have given me utmost anxiety, worst experience of my life!

Sweet james they never told me that the other party didn't have insurance and I had to pay for everything even to fix my car, they were not trustworthy. Look some one else

I chose Sweet James after speaking with supervising attorney Alex Chalimbeaov, who made specific, clear commitments that directly influenced my decision to hire this firm. He promised me: A locked-in lower contingency rate That the firm would not take more from the settlement than I would receive, he stated that I'm the one going through everything and should be entitled to the line share of the claim. That my case would likely resolve within 3–4 months Those were not vague statements. They were presented as firm commitments. More than a year later, the outcome contradicted all of those assurances. The settlement was significantly lower than expected, and the firm ultimately received far more than I did — the exact scenario I was told would not happen. I endured hospitalization, rehabilitation, and a prolonged recovery. I was told clients who suffer through that process deserve the lion’s share of compensation. That principle was not applied in my case at all. I documented my conversations, including dates and details. When I escalated the matter to Chief Operating Officer Emily Mehr, I expected leadership accountability. Instead, I was met with a rigid refusal to acknowledge the discrepancy between the intake representations and the final outcome. No meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue whatsoever. This experience raised serious concerns about intake representations versus actual results. Clients deserve transparency and alignment between promises and performance. I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience.

I was in a car accident right there and then I called Sweetjames and the next day one of his staff came to my house and took my information and everything but the thing is that they really didn’t fight for me at all. I was driving and another car cut another car me off and and they’re saying that I was speeding and ran a red light to never in my life haven’t gotten a ticket and I was knocked out by the airbags so for some reason, I couldn’t really remember what happened so the other driver said all the lies and Sweetjames never fought for me. I had to do my own investigation. They never went to the scene. I had to go there and see if there was any cameras. I had to go talk to people to see if they saw anything. There was another car involved for some reason they didn’t exchange the information. I did have their light license plate and I was able to find the VIN number for the car so anyways, they didn’t even know that LAPD does not do a police report unless there’s property damage. I had to find out myself. There was no lightpoles knocked down or anything like that so I had to go to the police station. I had to try to talk to the officer that was at the scene to see if she had the information of a witness that pull me out of my car as Sweetjames like I said I did not do anything. I had to do my own investigation while they sat back and did nothing for me. They did not fight for me now I’m getting bills from therapy and all that Sweetjames told them to send them to me so they are ridiculous. They did not fight for me at all and that’s what really makes me mad so I do not use Sweetjames from my experience.

I love that even after the case is finished and over with, Sweet James continues to be there for you and check in on you! It shows that they really go the extra mile in delivering amazing customer service! I'll always choose Sweet James because they're always going to be there for you.
