My experience with attorney Tafoya was great he always answer all my doubts and questions he try to close my case as fast as he could and when calling his office Arthur tried to proved as much as information as he could for any case updates. I highly recommend attorney Tofoya and associates he has taken 3 cases of my family and we all could say his the best 💕

As one comment mentioned previously, there is one person working everything. Awnsering phones, litterly the only person in the office. The attorney never met me in person and spoke to me himself, VERY VERY little times. I was in a constant state of distress, frustration and anger not to mention I was in pain and broke due to the work related injury. Having an attorney who never awnsers your calls or emails, and week after week all I would get from the assistant Arthur, was “the attorney is not available right now but I’ll make a note of your concern” over and over. After many months of this run around, exhausting back and forth, I finally went to VALDEZ & VALDEZ where I was actually shown concern and care. This guy does not deserve not even a fraction of what he got from my settlement, for “his part” in my case. I hope everyone who sees this searches far and wide, but this is NOT a professional, nor recommended place for your legal needs. Especially not work comp. Overall this attorney made the process a million times more stressful for me and wish I would have gone with Valdez and Valdez from the start.
Ms. Mejia I spoke with you on multiple occasions regarding your injury, your case, temporary disability benefits, your medical treatment, the panel qualified medical evaluator, your modified work, the wage differential regarding your second job, the settlement demands I sent on your behalf, your deposition, and the emotional impact the case was having on you. As I explained to you on other occasions, the times that I could not reach you was when I had a phone appointment with you, you did not answer and your voice mail was completely full. On days that you would send 7 emails followed by phone calls, I explained to you what was being done on your case. You are incorrect when you state there is only one person working in my firm "doing everything." I have full time employees that work remotely and legal counsel in San Francisco that handles my firm's cases as well. I work on each and every case personally as I did in your case. In fact, when you substituted out of my office, I had made a six figure demand on your case that was never responded to by defense counsel because you switched attorneys and that is your right. Valdez and Valdez is a fine firm and they were able to bring your case to a close. I am happy to see they were a good fit for you. Your new counsel and myself were able to resolve our attorney fee split in an amiable manner based on work performed and time spent on your case by both firms. The WCAB judge approved the agreement.
