Charges 250$ just to discuss. Took my money. But said at the meeting she didn’t know much about the issue at hand. Could have called and cancelled. Could have suggested another attorney who did. But just took the $$$. I clearly have a case. But suggested I didn’t.

Alexis Tahinci is the attorney you need for employment/discrimination issues. From the beginning (initial consultation) Alexis explained the steps, process and was very attentive to my case. Initial visit with Will was great. He was kind and listened to my case. Laid out the process and how payment may go, either they will collect when I get a settlement or an hourly fee. Being as though I am out of work due to my case I presented, I let Will know I probably could not do the hourly fee. Later that week I get an email from Will saying they can move forward but needed to be paid by an hourly fee plus a retainer. He apologize and reiterated he knew I didn’t have the money right now but…. I understand a lawyer does not work for free. It was disappointing to hear they asked for an hourly fee and a retainer fee when they knew I was out of work, but what really disappointed me was replying back to Will’s email and a week has gone by with no response to my questions about proceeding forward.

Called for a consultation over wrongful termination due to cancer. Was told $225 consultation fee upfront, nonrefundable. Wonderful way to destroy any client base that she may have had. We declined, and our case is imminently provable with texts as evidence. Eh, guess she's not familiar with our region being the poorest in the nation.
