I had a long, drawn out, unimaginably stressful headache of a situation after a tree fell and destroyed a large part of my home. After dealing with insurance and contractor stuff for nearly two years and having the repairs only about 50% complete and already well over my insurance company's total cost estimate - funds from insurance had not come near to meeting the actual costs of repairs and the claim deadline was looming. I retained Clinton Tapper at this point, based on a referral. He stepped in and was concise and fast to respond any time I had a question. He took over communications with my insurance company and that alone made my life so much better. He quickly got extensions granted as my repairs continued. Once the repairs were done, I was still tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket for repairs and was not hopeful that my insurance was going to reimburse me fully for those costs - on top of that, a problem with the initial contractor who I hired caused an additional massive financial burden to me apart from the claim or repairs - I had to hire a separate lawyer for this issue and still have no idea what that outcome will be. I didn't know how in the world I was going to come out of this whole ordeal intact. I still have a long way to go because of the separate contractor issue - but as for my insurance claim and repairs from the tree strike, Clinton went over the final costs and insurance reimbursements and he dealt with my insurance company to make it right. He was able to help me get a fair final settlement extremely quickly and efficiently and without litigation. I could have cried - in fact I think I did.
