I have never retained the services of Tavvs Fletcher, however I had previously used their associate attorney, Jana Natterman in 2022-23 to represent my child custody case when she had worked at a different prominent law group that has a great reputation. This review strictly pertains to the ways that Ms.Natterman failed both my son and I, which we still suffer the consequences as of the time of this review. I had Jana retained to represent my case for 8 months. It started with an "emergency" filing by the opposing party filled with false claims, in which had been found to be unsubstantiated. Despite that, it continued to be continued for an another 11 months. Without getting into detail, she managed to get a withdrawal of representation order signed hy a substitute judge three days before the long-awaited trial. Leading up to that, I lost all physical and legal rights to my almost 12 year old son on an ex-parte order that lasted 20 days leading up to trial, 17 days which Ms.Nattermann was still retained. I only recieved an updated bill, her demand I sign the withdrawal request she had petitoined the Court for, and copy of signed orders regarding the ex-parte hearing, and her withdrawl of representation. For context, it is my understanding that ex-parte orders are for emergencies only, and to ideally be heard withiin 24 hours, or as soon as possible and not to excede 5 days. Additionally, the child must be in immediate danger. My son was at his father's house for summer visitation, and his "acess to dangerous and illegal items," a pocket knife and a firework that he showed his father approximately one month prior, while I had been at the GALs office WITH Jana at a failed mediation, was somehow managed to convince the judge to sign the GALs motion. The current chief judge of VB JDR issued that order without a hearing. And Jana somehow had her withdrawal trial changed from the day of trial, to three days prior when the Judge following our case for 11 months was absent. To this day, a trial has never been held regarding the allegations made against me. I have SERIOUS CONCERNS of the decisions made by all involved, which unfortunately include Jana. To this day, I am prejudiced by the orders received 3 days after her abandonment, and refuse to hire an attorney due to lack of trust, and spending a collective $80,000 fighting against legal abuse, with the last check being paid to Jana. Jana Nattermann is the best family attorney in the business! It was such a pleasure to work with Jana and her paralegal, Tammy! I went through a particularly ugly divorce. I came home from deployment to find my wife having an affair, bank accounts empty, and kids who were fending for themselves. Jana and Tammy were with me every step of the way counseling me on how what was going on pertained to my children, myself, and the law. It was so comforting to know that my case was in good hands so I could focus on putting my life back together. Jana is knowledgeable, compassionate and of strong moral character. Please be careful when working with this law firm. My husband trusted this firm and contacted them to schedule a consultation for a reckless driving ticket. (This is our first time ever dealing with lawyers/etc.) He was informed he needed to pay a $275 CONSULTATION FEE. Which he paid. But when he came home and told me this, I knew something wasn't right. I immediately pulled up the attorneys website, and clear as day, it says, "FREE CONSULTATIONS".... so..... what did he just pay for, then? Weird... It took a few calls back and forth for them to realize their mistake, and they say they're issuing the refund... but we'll see. We did not hire them because of this issue. Be leary.

Louis Gaertner of Tavss Fletcher represented us in traffic court. Even though it was a relatively minor matter, Mr. Gaertner took the case and our concerns seriously. If you have Ryan Graves as your attorney you will lose. He doesn't know how to connect with the judges or assert himself. He flat out doesn't care. He needs to find a new career.

After waiting over 2 weeks to speak with Mr. Graves, he didn't show up for our meeting, and didn't follow up

I retained Besianne Maiden for a child custody case. She was incredible. Willing to go to bat for me and she got me more custody than what I was asking for. She is personable and treats every situation as it deserves.
