Mr. Martin is a very caring and attentive attorney I would absolutely recommend his law firm.

Please do not waste your money with this lawyer. ESPECIALLY IN CUSTODY/VISITATION After paying a retainer he basically forgot about us for 6 months. He then asked us to make the 4 hour trip to meet him for an appointment. Waited at least 30 minutes because he was "running behind" Then after 8 months he finally got us a court date. With a few days to go before the court date we reached out to him for an update and to make sure we were prepared for the 4 hour trip. He said all was good and that all that would happen at the court date is it would be continued for GAL. The same day Anna from his office calls us to let us know that actually a week ago our lawyer signed off on paperwork continuing this case in DECEMBER. We will not see a court room until nearly a full year after paying him his huge retainer. When calling Anna says "I don't know what to say" THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY.

It truly is scary how someone who can be on retainer and is supposed to have your back in the court of law can and will do the exact opposite. My biggest concern is the fact that this man might just be senile, or on copious amounts of drugs to be as forgetful as he is. Not only will he absolutely forget to keep in contact with you with devastatingly major updates, ones that could cost thousands of dollars at YOUR expense, he’s very inclined to forget you are even his client, even though he has a hefty retainer. If I could give less than one star for a review, I most certainly would. Put your hard earned money towards an actual competent lawyer, save yourself the trouble, headaches, and frustration. Not only would I not recommend, but I would absolutely discourage anybody from seeking counsel from this lawyer.

Words cannot describe the experience my family had with this attorney. Extremely unprofessional, rude, forgetful, combative and was a complete waste of money. We could’ve represented ourselves better than this attorney. I would never recommend anyone to this attorney.

Extremely unprofessional. I doubt he even has a license to practice law in Virginia. He wanted payment in the form of money orders. He wanted everything "off the books" to quote him directly. If you need leg representation, look elsewhere.
