I called and spoke with him for a consultation. He was condescending and talked over me repeatedly from the start. When I asked him something (admittedly in a frustrated tone), he said "I have other clients to see this afternoon. I'm going to let this go. Goodbye." I tried to apologize for my tone and said I would hear him out, but he didn't care. I can't speak to how he is as a lawyer, but based on the 20 minute consultation I had with him, I would recommend calling someone else for a consultation

A lot of disability attorneys do not want to hire or start a contract unless you've had a denial by Social Security and are set for court date. This guy will take you from the start of the process all the way through the end, so there's a better rapport with the office. 30+ years in service, he'll tell you every warning sign, red flag and green light you need to hear about

Terry understood I needed help. He took the stress off me and got my case approved. He is to the point, but knows what information and facts you need. If you want a buddy, don’t hire him. Terry Fjeld talked over the top of me and interrupted me when I tried to speak multiple times. He was condescending and rude when I needed to speak with him and was unwilling to hear me out when I was trying to ask questions and explain my situation. I had to repeatedly give him information about my case because he wouldn’t listen to me. When I told him I felt he was being condescending and was speaking over the top of me, he became VERY rude. I do not recommend working with him, especially if you are sick or disabled.
