Texas Estate and Probate - By Dooley Noted Law

I reached out to this firm for a Ladybird deed. I did the intake form and paid the fee. I have not received the deed. I have reached out to them several times . They are hard to contact , and when l finally was able to email them l was told l would have it this week. I have not received it, and no response to follow up email.

Courtney Smith was a great communicator. This firm went above and beyond my expectations they made me feel good working with them I would recommend this firm to my friends and family.

I should have read the reviews before hiring through ARAG. Based on both the reviews and my own experience, they accept the ARAG payment but do not operate in the client’s best interest. My case appeared to be closed quickly to meet minimum requirements, after which communication stopped. I have no documentation of any meaningful communication regarding a workout, and I can no longer access case communications through their portal. Ultimately, I am worse off than I would have been had I handled the matter directly without representation. Do yourself a favor if you were referred through ARAG and look at other options.

My experience was not good at all. I could never get in touch with my attorney. They kept telling me write in on my portal I sent messages after messages. They would go days without being answered even months. So I had to go to court by myself unprepared I used ChatGPT to help me and myself, the judge, and opposing attorney handled the issue on our own. Use chatgpt its only 21.97/month for legal advice.

Michael and his team was professional, prompt and quite pleasant to do business with. He was quick to provide estate planning documentations at reasonable prices and followed through with prompt updates and communications. Words cannot express my gratitude to Dooley Noted Law, and especially Attorney Ornelas, and administrative assistants Catherine Dooley and Ellen Ward. I do not wish to go into the specifics of the case, but only note that the law office competently handled my case involving a consumer protection issue. Importantly, my approach was to strike the middle path and find an amicable resolution. The law office helped in that regard, and helped find a good resolution. I had found the law office through the ARAG Legal insurance that I get from my work, and had selected them based on the reviews I saw. The initial (free) 15 minute consultation was helpful, and Attorney Ornelas sketched an approximate path of how things could evolve and what our steps would be. I will say that we were very stressed out about the whole affair, and felt perhaps more frequent updates would help. (This was our first experience in such matters.) In retrospect, however, I feel that the nature of these cases are such that frequent updates may not be possible. (Perhaps for future clients, the Law Office may wish to make this point explicit, so that folks in a situation similar to us are reassured that the legal-wheels are moving.) All is well that ends well, and I am very grateful that Dooley Noted Law helped find a resolution for us.

Their process took too long and wasn’t a benefit for me. I had to call them for updates and would take 2-3 days for responses. When you could get an answer, it was just a phone rep who couldn’t give you any info. They wanted you to sign agreement and pay before even talking with anyone who could advise more or at least have a legal rep go over matters with you. after spending time uploading all the docs requested, they took a week or so to review and then responded too late when my individual need had lapsed. If you have weeks or more to deal with a matter they might be able to help but in my circumstance their process was designed to work against my needs and never got a warm or fuzzy that the client was the priority I should have went with the other attorney who offered immediate help…. But lack of ability to utilize their service is the reason for 1 star as it was more frustrating just trying to get started to get basically no where in 3-4 weeks time spent

Huge waste of time. Went back and forth by email and phone for weeks with what I can only assume is a secretary. In the end I wasted about a month or so on this sub par law firm and never even had the opportunity meet with an attorney. I could have been leaps and bounds further with my case had they engaged me as a client. Or they could have just been upfront and told me they had absolutely no plans of meeting with me instead of wasting weeks of my time. If you're looking for legal representation on a real estate matter, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
