I hired The Baringer Law Firm to handle a partition case, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Communication was consistently poor, updates were difficult to get, and I later discovered that major required filings had not been completed timely — including a judge’s ruling from March 2023 that was not filed until September 2024, only after I had to repeatedly request it and escalate the issue. After raising concerns directly with the owner, I was told oversight would improve, but nothing changed. I eventually learned that the primary attorney on my case, Ben Klein, had been suspended — yet I was never notified by the firm. I was left uninformed, with my case stalled for months, additional fees, stress, and lost time. I have since proceeded with filing a formal complaint with the Louisiana Office of Disciplinary Counsel. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this law firm.
